I am an attorney and court commissioner in Dodge County, Wisconsin. My lovely wife Julie and our kids Philip and Grace (and dog Howie) enjoy exploring cemeteries with me.|
Like most of my fellow gravers, I do this to preserve the history of those who came before us and the often beautiful works of art that mark their final resting places - and to make the information more accessible to those who might be searching for it.
My information comes from a variety of sources, including older cemetery transcriptions done by others. Feel free to contact me with corrections, additional information, transfer requests, questions, etc. I'll be happy to help if I can.

|Ellen SP||Annie Laihouse #95434800|
Hello Steve. I'm thinking that Annie Laihouse may be my 2nd great grandfather's second wife, who our family would know as Anna LaHousse. You indicate on her memorial that the placement of her grave suggests she would have died around 1911, but our Anna is believed to have died in 1931. (http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=2542&h=1213019&ssrc=pt&tid=75546840&pid=30343631774&usePUB=true) Based on your knowledge of the cemetery, do you think this grave could belong to someone who died in 1931? I had trouble navigating the institution website on my device but I will try again. Thanks so much. -- Ellen

Thanks so much for finding the grave of my Great Grandfather. I see that was in a family plot for Holbrook. Did you find that in Lake Maria Cemetery in Manchester Township WI, or elsewhere? I always wondered why he was buried out there, but that's what his obit said.
