Three of all the things I enjoy are family, history and solving a mystery. Family history research lets me enjoy those three things. FindAGrave is a great resource to help solve those mysteries. I enjoy contributing and have been helped by many who use this site.|
My family research includes the Feten Farm descendants of Balestrand, Norway. These surnames include Johnson, Rendahl, and Hermanson. The Drolsum, Buskerud, Norway farm including Drolsum, Dunnum, Drolson, Myron and Hendrickson surnames. The Pjelax, Vaasa, Finland area including Rätts, Simons, and Tåg.
The family surnames of Trapp, Wolf, Lauer, and Wagner immigrated from Germany to Winneshiek and Fayette counties of Iowa. The Jens Eriksen Johnson family immigrated from Akershus, Norway to Norway, Racine, Wisconsin.
If you can connect to one of this list of surnames we are probably distant or not-so-distant cousins.

Many, many thanks for taking these photos of my great great grandfather's grave in Oakland Cemetery. If I can return the favor in the State of Maryland, you have but to ask!

Thank you for trying to get photos of the Appelquist headstones in Oak Lake Cemetery. It is disappointing to discover that no headstones exist, but it is helpful to know that.

You are welcome. We had a hard time finding the marker, so asked a worker that was pressure washing some headstones. Turns out he was their son-in-law. We didn't get his name.

Thank you for the additional information. I have just completed adding it to her memorial.
Have a great weekend.
