My wife and I live about five miles outside Reading, Berks County, Pa. I try to visit most of the cemeteries in Reading and the southwest corner of Berks. I've also wandered into Eastern Lancaster and Lebanon county where some family members are buried. I've had an interest in geneaology since 2002. (probably longer, I just didn't know it yet.) Findagrave has not only peaked my interest in taking cemetery photos, but, also in discovering and walking cemeteries in this area that I never knew were there. Not only have I documented many of my ancestors, I have been taking as many photos as possible in the hopes of helping others find theirs. If you are a family member, I will gladly transfer your ancestor's memorial to you. |
Future generations will want to know what happened to their ancestors, and Findagrave is the best way to document them.
Whose grave are you going to find today?
(Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Please include your member number for a transfer.
I will always make corrections and add links when asked. Thanks!!

I wasn't looking for anyone in particular when I was there shooting photos. And I have no idea who I'm shooting as I do. If they look like there's any intelligence left on the stone I take a shot and figure them out at home. See the photo of Peter Schweitzer 1730, I'm really proud of that one.
Anyway, not knowing it was George Trostle at the time I didn't look for his wife. She could be there right next to him. Maybe you want to ride out and take a look. George was near the back rows, about center.

Oh ok thats cool i forgot my mom did say my uncal louie Mike's dad lived over in Shillington, I grow up with his son Nick When Michael and his son Nick when he was with Nick's mom and they lived on the 800 block of north 11th st Reading, And i worked with Michael at Reading Metro and Grab A Cab for 10 years.
When I first saw the "Sibling" designation, the name 'wasn't' greyed out below if I was on the memorial page of that particular sibling. It was confusing! I also noticed that only some of my memorials had the "Siblings" category added. Later, when I looked at it, if I was on the page of a particular sibling, their name, in the "Sibling" category, had been greyed out.
I realized F.A.G. had added something new...

I created a memorial for the stone you posted on
50299599. Will you remove and attach to memorial
Thanks for setting up the memorial for Stacey Mogel.
I noticed that you spelled her first name wrong on the heading. She is Stacey not Stacy.
Also, the Reading Eagle was incorrect in stating that her graduation year was 1983. She actually graduated in 1982.
Finally, can you link her to her parents -
Harold E Berg # 73096868 and
Jean M. (Travalina) Berg # 108659691
