Bio and Links
Bio Photo My wife and I live about five miles outside Reading, Berks County, Pa. I try to visit most of the cemeteries in Reading and the southwest corner of Berks. I've also wandered into Eastern Lancaster and Lebanon county where some family members are buried. I've had an interest in geneaology since 2002. (probably longer, I just didn't know it yet.) Findagrave has not only peaked my interest in taking cemetery photos, but, also in discovering and walking cemeteries in this area that I never knew were there. Not only have I documented many of my ancestors, I have been taking as many photos as possible in the hopes of helping others find theirs. If you are a family member, I will gladly transfer your ancestor's memorial to you.
Future generations will want to know what happened to their ancestors, and Findagrave is the best way to document them.

Whose grave are you going to find today?

(Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers:

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Please include your member number for a transfer.
I will always make corrections and add links when asked. Thanks!!

RE: Daniel Rapp 70852817
I do not have him in my records as a veteran. I read his funeral story which said he had a private funeral and no mention of military. Probably a misplaced marker.

Find A Grave Memorial# 70852817 and 70852829

Daniel and Mary Ann Rapp are my 2nd great grandparents. Would you have any additional information about either of them? (parents, children, other relatives, etc?) Your photograph of Daniel's grave indicates that he had served in the Civil War, yet I'm unable to find anything to verify this fact. Do you have any record showing which regiment he served with and/or his dates of service? Any information or assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Tricker! This memorial is my aunt. Would you mind adding "Habel" as her maiden name & linking her to her parents at #59292071 & #59292082, John & Elizabeth Habel. Also, if you run across William P. Habel (b. 1863) & his wife, Elizabeth (Groff), b. 1/1866, I would appreciate a pix. They are my great grandparents. Thank you, so much! Linda Tyler

My mom found a stone at Yocum's that isn't in your list. She didn't write down the dates but I have the photo. It is William (1929-199?) & Judith (living) Fritz.I can send the photo if you like. tim_orerockon at yahoo

RE: Find A Grave Correction: Kent Zerr
Hello Tricker,
Through reading through the various entries I was able to add information that you are asking me to edit as unknown. I'm not sure what to do here. Drop me an email.

RE: Marion R. (Baver) Briner

Ahh Haa.. I must say, I completely agree. Perhaps we may all get so focused on obituaries sometimes.. I didn't think of looking for birth announcement either. Great call, memorial updated.

Thanks a ton!
