My wife and I live about five miles outside Reading, Berks County, Pa. I try to visit most of the cemeteries in Reading and the southwest corner of Berks. I've also wandered into Eastern Lancaster and Lebanon county where some family members are buried. I've had an interest in geneaology since 2002. (probably longer, I just didn't know it yet.) Findagrave has not only peaked my interest in taking cemetery photos, but, also in discovering and walking cemeteries in this area that I never knew were there. Not only have I documented many of my ancestors, I have been taking as many photos as possible in the hopes of helping others find theirs. If you are a family member, I will gladly transfer your ancestor's memorial to you. |
Future generations will want to know what happened to their ancestors, and Findagrave is the best way to document them.
Whose grave are you going to find today?
(Find-A-Grave Policy on Transfers:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Please include your member number for a transfer.
I will always make corrections and add links when asked. Thanks!!

|Marina||Edward Yeager # 67900809, Kate Yeager # 67900794|
Hello. Edward Yeager is my husband's great-granduncle. I have been diligently working on linking all the children of Abraham and Harriet Dickinson Yeager who are his 2nd great-grandparents. While researching Edward and his wife, I found an informative biography for him as well as Kate's parents. Although it's outside the Find A Grave guidelines, I'm hoping you will consider transferring both Edward and Kate to me. I promise to show them both the utmost respect. Thanking you in advance. I'm not very good at Find-A-Grave, I don't know what you mean by submit under "other." I see edit and add photo, but can't find an option "other" to click on.

I have a copy of a funeral invitation for Nicholas B. Reinert, d. age 62 years 10 months 17 days, interred in Sinking Spring Cemetery, Aug.15, 1928. I believe this is the same as your submission Find A Grave Memorial# 59470531 Nicholas B. Reinert. I can send a copy of the invitation to you to post if you would like to add it to your submission

|Doyle Miller||Glauser Miller|
Greetings! First and foremost I want to Thank You for your hard work on Find A Grave. It is much appreciated and of great importance! I would like to suggest a couple of corrections. Your Find A Grave Memorial #68208409 for Clauser Miller. I believe this should be Glauser Miller, not Clauser Miller. Glauser was married to Mary (Heilig) in 1852 and they had 4 children - William; Annie; Alonzo and Jennie. So, in regards to your Find A Grave Memorial #68208537 for Jennie Miller. She would be a daughter of Glauser and Mary (Heilig) Miller and Annie would be her sister. I have copies of documents to show this info, such as census and obituaries. Glauser is a brother to my Great-Great Grandfather, David Miller. David and wife Eliza are buried in the Terre Hill Cemetery; Terre Hill, Pennsylvania. Please advise if you need further information and I would be glad to send it. Again, Thank You for your time and hard work. Doyle

Okay. How do I send you the burial cards? Do you have a personal email address? If you send me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org, I can reply to it and attach the burial cards. Thank you. I'm in California and probably won't be back to Pennsylvania any time soon. Marina Yeager #46871120

I have been in contact with Charles Evans Cemetery and indeed there are 11 Lance family members in one plot and 2 addition in another plot. When do you normally do photo requests at Charles Evans Cemetery? I would like to request photos of the entire group the next time you are there if you have time. If you'll contact me at email@example.com, I could email you the burial card to make it easier. Thanking you in advance. Marina Yeager #46871120

|RM||Ernst Meinig Memorial|
In researching a cousin, Elizabeth Schletter, the trail led to her marriage to your Ernst H. Meinig memorial. Elizabeth was a sibling-in-law. She was Ernst's wife. Looking for more details in Berks County.
