I began researching my family tree in 2008, and have since become obsessed with the search. Find A Grave has given me many details I could not have gotten elsewhere. I have tried to return the favor by not only taking pictures of my family's grave sites and posting them, but also, many grave sites from cemeteries in and around the Fayette County, PA. area. The family names I am researching are Provance & May from the Dunbar vicinity, and Turner & Lee from the Ohiopyle area, both located in Fayette County, PA.|
I also work with the Fayette County Genealogy Project by inputting all the obituary and marriage records. You may want to visit the site. It could be helpful in your research. Link is shown below. Volunteers are always needed, especially those who are willing to type obituaries. Contact me if you would like to assist.

Brenda, This is in reference to your message for me: I was hoping you would contact me about the duplicate memorials for John Hardin. Do you want to delete your memorial and I can transfer mine to you? I am related to the Hardin's but can't find a direct relationship to John, so you are probably a closer relative. Sorry I haven't answered sooner, but yes, I would appreciate it if you would transfer yours to me, then I will put my links on yours and delete mine. John Hardin is my 4th great grandfather twice. Find A Grave# 73730511 & Find A Grave# 94910528. Thank you so much, Brenda and again, sorry it has taken me so long to answer.

Please transfer Find A Grave ownership of my parents, Joseph Rohlf Cesarino and Sonia Lorain Larrabee. Also my brothers, Michael Edward Cesarino and Joseph Rohlf Cesarino. My great grandparents, Ida May Wilburn and Herman Henry Rohlf are also buried at Mt Washington Presbyterian Church in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Many aunts and uncles and their families are buried here also. I attended this church for my first 21 years of life.

These two memorials need to be merged into one:
Hardin, Capt John "Miller", Find A Grave# 73730511
b. Jun. 2, 1733 d. Jun. 2, 1803
Hardin Family Cemetery

Hardin, Capt John Miller, Find A Grave# 94910528
b. Jun. 2, 1733 d. May 13, 1803
Created by: Stella
Record added: Aug 06, 2012
Brenda's should survive because it was created first by more than a year.
Death dates are different and text explains that May 13, 1803 was the probate of his will; so he died before (headstone is wrong; note how young the headstone looks).
So death date should be May 13, 1803, with the first bio note line being an explanation that the death date is the date of will probate, but that he did die in 1803 before that.
Brenda you should include all info on Stella's Find A Grave memorial and then Stella should delete her Find A Grave memorial.

|Gail M. Ogle||Jacob Hardin|
I am related to the Hardin's of Fayette County PA.
Jacob is my 2nd great uncle. I have a copy of his death certificate. His birth date was May 4, 1889, and the date of his death was Dec 25, 1940. I believe I have a copy of the obituary, from the Morning Herald, that you posted.
If you would like a copy of the death certificate, please let me know.
