I am more than happy to make corrections to any of the memorials I have entered; however, I would really appreciate your giving me a way to communicate with you if you have messages blocked and no email address on your profile. I try to let you know when I have completed the correction or if I have a question.
I try my best to do a thorough check before entering any memorials. I will never intentionally create a duplicate, although sometimes it just happens with the delay in the Find-a-Grave system at times. Even if my memorial was entered first, I will usually delete if the other memorial is complete. My interest is not in numbers but in the precious souls who walked among us on this earth. However, I would appreciate your using "the Golden Rule" when asking me to delete a memorial. Most people already do and don't have to be reminded. Just want you to know that I will never intentionally be rude to anyone. God bless!

I have lived in Sweetwater, Texas all but four years of my life.
A geneology nut, I love to help people find their family information through this volunteer work.
I am the Find-A-Grave coordinator for the Nolan County Cemeteries. The Sweetwater Cemetery is my favorite (my daughter, father & grandparents are buried there). Outlying Nolan County cemetery photos can be made as time and travel permits.
I have strong family ties to the following cemeteries:
* Sweetwater (Nolan County, TX)
* Old Bethel (Anderson County, TX)
* Frankston City (Anderson County, TX)
* Roby (Fisher County, TX)
* Rose Hill (Taylor County, TX)
I'll be happy to make corrections on any of my entries if needed, or I will gladly transfer memorials to family members (at my discretion when it involves my kinfolks).
My families are (to name a few):
Cardwell * Hammond * Turner * Elam * Fry * Douglass
Hughes * Thomas * Beard * Willingham * Folmar
Free * Wyly * Bates * Stewart * Powell
Always interested in hearing from anyone with any connections to my families.

THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY
By Thelma Greene Reagan
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

|Mary Stewart||cATHERINE ELIABETH COULTER|
I found Robert Coulter and his daugther Nancy in the Roby Cemetery, I believe Uncle Tom Coulter is there also-- Thomas Jefferson COULTER(Jan 1, 1849 - Jul 8, 1934)but I don't find Catherine Elizabeth Coulter (married name Luttrell which she did not use at the end) is not buried there even though the death certificate is not there, nor do I find her in the Balch Cemetery with her mother America Clift Coulter. I am curious is she there without a headstone?? The rest of the family was:
Nancy Rebecca , F (1845-1900)
William Clift , M (1848-)
Thomas Jefferson , M (1849-1934)
James Warren , M (1851-)
Catherine Elizabeth , F (1853-1922)
M. S. Robert , M
Moses Brooks , M (~1860-)
Joseph Johnson , M (1862-1944)
Margaret Ann , F (1864-1901)
Charles B. , M (1867-1870)
Thanks so much! We can always count on you!

Thank you for the transfer.

Janie: Would you change Billye Beard's name on her findagrave site in the Frankston city cemetery to Billye Dove Moren Beard. Thanks Joe

It has just dawned on me that I am registered with Family Search.org and have used that service a lot. I do not have a tree there, however, which I think may limit my access to information.
I do find a lot of tidbits there, though, and why I didn't go there this time is a good question.
Thanks for reminding me.
Sometimes we get caught up in our work and forget our sources.
I am relatively new to being active at Find A Grave and still finding my way around without offending anyone and I try to contribute when I am reasonably sure of my contribution.

Janie, thank you so, so much. I would never have found this information in time for the project I am doing with the family tree(s).
Every time I go to Find A Grave I learn more and more, generally.
Thanks a bunch for all the information and the suggestions.
|Ancestor Hunter||Frank & Bonnie Stubbs|
Thanks so much fot the transfers! You, yourself are a blessing.
|Patricia Endicott||Memorial 15519478 Marie 'Rie' Clardy Yantis|
I am researching the Yantis family and have stumbled onto your record for the wife of Aaron B. Yantis, as above.
Her parents appear to be, from census records, John E. Clardy and Lydia A. Clardy, but I can find absolutely nothing for her mother's maiden name. Nothing is popping up as it usually does.
Should I take a chance and just edit your material with what I have, or would you prefer to do that?
Also, could I use the cause of death information for Maria in my tree on Ancestry. I would never have found that myself. I live in Canada and am doing this research on behalf of our daughter in law who is from Arkansas and now lives here.
Thank you so much for the headstone photo for Gerald and Sarah Dabbs! Mary
