I retired from the Army of 21 years and I love to study and visit Civil / Revolutionary War Battlefields and visit the generals grave sites who served during those periods. Thanks to Find a Grave I am able to plan my trips accordingly. As the National Chaplain for the Disabled American Veterans 1.2 million member organization, I like helping those who cannot visit their family members in person by taking pictures for them in the area in which I live. I post veteran memorials on Find a Grave to pay tribute to their service, a way of honoring them for the sacrifice made to this country. If you have more information to post to a memorial I have created, send it to me and I'll add it or I'll transfer the memorial page. Photos taken by me for Find a Grave may be considered public domain and you are most welcome to use them.|

was this formerly Camp Ground Meth?
It is not mentioned, and should be if it is. I know Sally Peed Trussell was buried at Camp Ground- and her grave is in United..or said to be.

#65239515. I'm looking for a James Munday, said to be the brother of Susan Womacks. Susan was put into a Union prison for adding and abetting a person who belong to a gang of border ruffians, ie. her brother, James Munday who supposedly ran with Wm. Quantrill. As you might know, Quantrill and abt. 400 men raided Lawrence, KS on August 21, 1863 during the Border War (KS/MO). I was wondering if your James Munday might be this fellow? I'm looking for James Munday for a Border War virtual cemetery. Thanks.

I just realized that of the 2 photos wrong photos of the posted on the main Cemetery page for Abbeville Trinity Episcopal Church, one was apparently approved as the default cemetery picture and appears on the burial pages of EVERYONE'S memorial pages who are buried there. You may have to contact Find A Grave to get those photos removed.
Sorry to point this out, but I am very familiar with the Abbeville Church....
|MLPBailey||Wrong Church Picture for Abbeville SC|
The photo you have posted on the cemetery page for the Trinity Episcopal Church in Abbeville, Abbeville County, SC is not of that church.
You have posted a pic of the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia, SC.
You also have posted the same photo on the Memorial Page for # 85006351, where someone has also posted a correct picture of the Abbeville Church.
Thought you might want to delete these.

Mike, we have been in touch before: 30 July 2012.
My project about the temporary American GELA Cemetery in Sicily, where over 1,200 young American men and women had been buried between July 1943 and April 1947. These men and women were killed in Sicily.
I have put all information, like Roll of Honor, stories, pictures of the temporaray cemetery then and pictures of to-day's graves on DVD, which is now available.
The title for the DVD is "They stayed behind".
