~=~ TWELVE YEARS ON FINDAGRAVE! ~=~|
I run the USGenWeb website for Bell County, TX where some of my ancestors come from. However, I live in Denton County. I definitely find cemeteries to be a very fascinating part of genealogy research. Wish I had more time to help with documenting the local cemeteries, but we all do what we can!
Most of the burials and photos I submit are not going to be related to my ancestry, so it's usually not likely I'm going to have additional info. If you have a correction or additional details for a burial record I have submitted, feel free to let me know. Also, if you sponsor one of the burials I have submitted and let me know, I will certainly transfer ownership of the record. The surnames I am researching are DEAVER, MORRIS, FINTO, MASON, KELLER, SUMMERS, HERRING, HENRY, HAWKINS, SINGLETON, CHANDLER, and LOVELESS. We Deavers have been in America since 1657!

I saw that you had posted one of the photos on my great aunt's memorial (Zelma Deaver Draper, #30230834). I thought we might be related and just wanted to say "Hello". My great grandfather was Frederick Marion Deaver, who was the great grandson of William Deaver and Susannah Birchfield.

a rubbing was taken of the transcription which read:
as a wife devoted; a mother affectionate;
as a friend ever kind and true.
Would it be possible for you to update
Joe, Would you transfer my Great Grand Father, Benjamin Franklin Wade to me so I can join him to him other family members. Thank you, Pamela
I am looking up someone who is in the Bethel Cemetery in Haywood Co, and they don't have directions to the cemetery. I noticed your beautiful photos of the mountains there, I wondered if you could tell me where the cemetery is. The man I was tracking is CC Rice, he is buried there, but his wife who pre-deceased him is listed as being buried in Woodrow, and I can't find her on FindAGrave or any Woodrow Cemetery in NC, so I was wondering if this area is called Woodrow. After his wife died in 1925, he seemed to have lived with different children, one in Hendersonville in 1930 & he died in Macon Co., NC, possibly with another. He might be buried beside her. If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Joe, I have a Jacob Hemphill (memorial #95597509)buried in North Belton Cemetery in Belton Texas. He is a Confederate soldier. Do you mark these grave sites with a special ribbon or flag? I looke for a flag but could not find one. Thanks, Betty Lang Walker (of the Bell Co TX Walker's and the Montgomery Co TX Lang's.

Thanks very much for adding info for A.W. Yarbrough memorial so promptly. I was happy to find his memorial you had posted...I didn't know just where he had ended up.
