Lynette Gee Davis|
I have been doing genealogy research for a little over 4 years(2006). I originally started working mainly on the GEE and DAVIS family. I have expanded my research to include the ELAM, BLASDEL, GARY, HARGROVE, LANDERS & EARNHARDT family lines.
I cataloged the Bellwood Cemetery in Temple, Bell Co., Texas (2009) and I finished the Temple Mount Zion Garden of Memories in Temple, Bell Co., Texas (2011). I added the memorials and the photos of Temple Mount Zion Garden of Memories to Find A Grave. Bellwood has been added to Find a Grave, although not by me but using the list I provided, and is currently on the internet in the Bell County Cemetery listings. I have finished adding the photos but it was a slow process since there were over 4000 photos to add (2013).
I am happy to transfer any of the memorials if they are not direct ancesters of mine.
I have recently begun adding my family members and friends to the Find A Grave website. If you find errors or duplicate/multiple entries, please do not hesitate to contact me. If you have additional information you would like added to one of the entries, I'll be most happy to add the information for you.
I would like to thank the staff of FindAGrave for one of the best Genealogical sites available online. Your site has saved me numerous hours of research. Also it has provided photos in other states that I could not have possibly gotten without your wonderful site and the contributions of everyone connected. You have truly created a great source and network for genealogists to search, find and contribute information.
I also would like to thank all of the contributors who without their time and effort there would be no FindAGrave. You do a wonderful job.

Your memorial for Sarah Embry (69890586) is a duplicate with another Sarah Embry (46998222) already listed in the Oenaville Cemetery. I have been working on cataloguing the Oenaville Cemetery, and noticed the duplication. Just thought I would let you know.

No problem. But thanks for having the information there as another confirmation of what I already have.
|Larry Kloth||56796214 William J. Shelton|
Hi. Do you have a source in regard to his mother's name? William J. Shelton was my 3rd great uncle. His parents, Leonard and Belinda/Malinda Shelton were my 3rd great-grandparents. In the Cecil Shelton genealogy book, she is known as Malinda Garrett, daughter of Johnson Harris Garrett and Belinda Wilson. Some pages from a Garrett family Bible have caused doubt in a lot of people's minds, including mine, that she was a natural-born member of that family, or if she was in the family at all.
I have seen her maiden name given as Howorth in one document and as Howard in an online family tree. She had a second marriage to Levi Smith, and the death certificate of her son, General Sherman Smith, has her name as Howorth.
She is truly one of the mysteries of my tree, so whatever information you might be able to share would be much appreciated!
