Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in discovering my family roots since I was very young and thanks to the internet, I am able to trace many of those roots. I currently live in Texas, but family lines come from Virginia. Several lines traveled throughout Virginia, West Virginia and the Mid-West.

I realize some members play the 'numbers game' and create as many memorials as possible. THIS DOES NOT MAKE YOU AN EXPERT ON THE PEOPLE YOU CREATED MEMORIALS FOR. It's frustrating for family members who have corrections/updates for memorials, but the creator is just too busy because their time is devoted to uploading thousands of memorials each month.

I have added memorials from a few local cemeteries in Central Texas to help others with their family research. I am always happy to transfer memorials to family when requested.

RE: Jane Hedrick
His second marriage in 1899 was to a Mary Jane!
Thanks for changing his first wife's name to just "Ann" as most records indicate.

Ok. I haven't heard from the other person that had him listed yet. But I will be glad to add the links.

Hi Again, Forgot to give you the correct memorial # for Carl 131196947. By the way, the one you had at Branch Mountain, was a duplicate, he was already listed there by someone else, that I have also written.

Hi Amy! Looks like our paths have crossed again. I was recently at Branch Mountain United Methodist Church Cemetery taking pics. This could be very confusing as you can see Branch Mountain Cemetery and the church it sits beside, plus another church from this cemetery. I guess that is why the area is called Three Churches, WV. A whole lot better than Two Cemeteries, WV don't you think?

You have listed Carl Milton Farren in Branch Mountain. He and wife Layuna R. are actually in Branch Mountain U.M.C. Cemetery, which I added because he was not listed. I will gladly transfer to you, as it looks like you have a lot of links to him.

Thanks for asking, but not a relative. I'm just helping add obits and details to people buried in the Cherokee Cemetery while looking for any mention of my father's family who lived in that area.

RE: Jarvis Cemetery
The cemetery listed as the Santy cemetery is actually the Jarvis cemetery. Walker Tom Jarvis was one of the first buried there, and the Santy's are direct descendents of his. My cousin Jarrett Rose incorectly labeled it the Santy cem. since our uncle Enoch Santy used to live beside it and many of the family are buried there.
