Although relatively new to Find a Grave, I've been working on my family's ancestry for a few decades now; tying up loose odds and ends, and every now and then finding a most interesting connection. Of course, the fun doubled when I got married, and now I get to curate my wife's side of the family too!|
I'm a half-Northern, half-Southern living gal in the US, so take photos wherever I find myself working that week. Please let me know if I've thrown up a duplicate record, or got some details incorrect - mistakes happen to the best of us, and they happen to me too :) The most important thing is to get the data correct, so no offense will be taken.

Williamina Jefferson (Mrs. Walter B.)'s nickname was "Winnie", not Minnie.
Thank you from a long-time friend of the Jeffersons.

I also took a photo of a stone that was broken and leaning on the back of another stone. The name on the stone is Bruce Gage son of W R & L Gage. Do you want me to e-mail the picture so you can put in the memorial? Thank you. Shirley

Thank you so much. I will have the owner update the year. and thank you for your dedication to this wonderful site. Yours, Nancy
Thank you for taking the photo of Cornelius C Whitenack's headstone in the Henry Skillman Burying Ground. Would you be able to verify the death year. I believe it is 1831 not 1834. Maybe your original photo could help. Thank you for your time. Nancy Kipp

what I have done when I encounter a memorial in the wrong cemetery and I have a photo in the correct cemetery is post the photo with a caption specifying the correct cemetery, inform the contributor - wait 30 days, and then let the admin handle it. Generally they will just change the burial location.
BTW -- I'm not sure that cemetery even exists.

I sent the other contributor an email and informed her it is the wrong cemetery - not sure if she is active on the site.

So, it turns out there are 3 Minna V. Saums in New Jersey around that time. This memorial is for my person's nephew.
I've spend a lot of time trying to sort out these 3 people, and in the process, I think I've found some mistakes on your memorial for Minna V Saums # 119760611 (who is the correct 4th great-grandfather of my husband). I think you may have pasted an incorrect inscription for this memorial. It doesn't match the photograph. Also, according to the photo, the birth date should be calculated at 1805.
Please know I submit these corrections with kindness and much gratitude. Finding your photo was the key to solving the puzzle. May I have your permission to use it in my family tree?
