PLEASE - send corrections through the edit tab and suggest a correction. You can now send LINKS this way. I have turned off messages so corrections MUST go through the approved system.
Please remember the f-a-g rule from the FAQs. You should NEVER deliberately create a duplicate memorial.
from the FAQS:
"ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
No obituary photographs.
No SCANS of obituaries or newspaper articles." Additionally, biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower.
from the FAQS:
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request"
FROM THE FAQs BURIAL UNKNOWN:
Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days. Exceptions to this rule are available in the FAQs. Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.

Thank you for the surprise transfers! And good luck with your move!
All the best,
Wow! Thank you very much for fulfilling all those Smock/Bell/Bonnell photo requests for me! I really appreciate your help!

Thanks for getting back to me. I figured that was the answer I was going to get but that it couldn't hurt to ask. Thanks also for reminding me about the surname files at the BCGS - I'm going to be there next week and can add that to my list of things to do.

Thanks for your quick response. I appreciate the many hours you put into your grave reporting and will continue searching elsewhere.

Thank you so much for this info. My sister and I will be coming to the Blair County Historical Society in the near future to see what records we can find on our family. If I wanted to add info to your find on Barbara, how would I do that?

This grave is my sister, Barbara Jean McCloskey. Have been looking for it for many years and just got her death certificate through Ancestry.com while doing a geneology search. Can you tell me how you found it and where in Oak Ridge Cemetery it is located? She died at the age of 5 days.

Thank you so much for getting those pictures of my family gravestones....I live to far away to get them myself. I was only a teenager when my dad passed and I couldn't remember what it looked like. Thanks again and God Bless.
