Bio and Links
Bio Photo Although relatively new to Find a Grave, I've been working on my family's ancestry for a few decades now; tying up loose odds and ends, and every now and then finding a most interesting connection. Of course, the fun doubled when I got married, and now I get to curate my wife's side of the family too!

I'm a half-Northern, half-Southern living gal in the US, so take photos wherever I find myself working that week. Please let me know if I've thrown up a duplicate record, or got some details incorrect - mistakes happen to the best of us, and they happen to me too :) The most important thing is to get the data correct, so no offense will be taken.

RE: Colonel David Hay
Hi Lisa: My 'tree' is in outline form. I save all info as PDF files. I also have the 'bookmarks' on all my research. I could email them to you. Or, I could burn everything onto a SD card & snail mail it. Let me know what you feel would work the best.

RE: Colonel David Hay
Hi Lisa ! I do have Wilhanna in my "tree", so hello 'cousin'. Would you happen to have any info on the parents of Col David Hay? I do show that his wife was Margaret Newell & her parents were James & Elizabeth (Lawrence) Newell. And that is as far back as I've found. Let me know if you would like a copy of my "tree" lineage info. Thanks, Kevin

Colonel David Hay
Hi Gazelle:
I just noticed your comment about the Colonel David Hay headstone picture. Would you happen to be related? He is my 4-greats grandfather.
Thanks, Kevin James Hay

RE: Frances Beard
You are very welcome. I thought the "Sr" interesting too. That was a first for me, as well.

Mill Lane Cemetery
Hi Gazelle!
Yesterday was beautiful and I took a stroll through Mill Lane Cemetery; I hope you don't mind my adding some photos to your work. I only added where I thought my photo may add a different perspective, or different view due to the season, etc. I'm glad you got so many in, and many excellent photos. Happy hunting!

No visible marker.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, the Wiley SIZEMORE whom I believe is at Juniper Cemetery did serve in Company K of the 59th Georgia Regiment. Thanks for the link. - John
