Hi Y'all. I'm a Central Pennsylvania native living in Eastern Georgia. I'm tracking down and documenting family names including Daugherty, Sprunger, Amstutz, Updegraff (and its variations Updegrave, Uptagrafft, Updegrove, etc.). I'm also interested in family names Antes, Bixler, Bressler, Coffee, Ferree, Gillinger, Habegger, Herr, Kendig, Logan, Pennington, Rothlischberger, Williams. |
I'm part of the great Pennsylvania melting pot, a descendant of Scotch-Irish, Swiss Mennonite, French Huguenots, Moravians, English, German, and Welsh ancestors. The "huddled masses yearning to breathe free."
I'm also looking for my wife's family including Devaney, Hayman, Holley, Leffler, Ricketson, Robertson, Seiter, Street, Tuemler, Williams.
I'm trying to photograph as much as possible, and create an accurate, historical record. I'll be glad to transfer non-family members. I've enjoyed getting to know my extended family members through Findagrave.
Please visit my famous relatives:

I notice than their son John Pence (1835 - 1902) is not listed as one of their children on Findagrave. He m. Martha Cannon in Montgomery Co., IL, and they are buried in Sunnyside Cemetery in Sorento, Bond Co., IL, along with several of their children and grandchildren.

|babs||RE: Barbara Low Photo|
I have quite a few Low pictures from the same lot as Barbara. I am so sleepy right now I'm not going to try to do any more tonight...I'd make a mess of it, I'm sure. Some of the stones are worn and very difficult to read. I will get a lot card to help me out. I'll email it to you when I am done.
I know that Emory was her husband but there is also another Emory, who I believe to be their son. Problem is Emory Sr. stone is not legible. A lot of corrosion on it.
If your email is not on your bio will you please send it to me? Mine email is on my Find A Grave bio.

Hi Bill...I've been trying to fulfill your request for Glenwood and Olive in Methodist Episcopal in Wmstwn...I've been there numerous times and have yet to find them although, as you know, I've found a bunch of others...Is it possible they could be in a 'family plot' belonging to other relatives?...There is no office here to contact that I'm aware of as I'm not from the area and the only structure on the property is an equipment shed.

Hello, I believe I've found Benjamin Stehman (#86596468) in Stehman's Cemetery. However, the stone reads died Dec. 7, 1842 Aged 16years 11 mos & 28 days. The parental ties inscription is heavy worn but it is possible that it is John & Nancy or Anna Stehman. His stone is next to a Hiram Stehman. Should I post it?

Bill, Always nice to hear a story of how people knew each other, it helps to keep this on a more personal basis.
Thank You - Tom Schoening

No probelem. There are more Beppler photos from Armagh, I just have to post them. I took quite a few photos so it may take some time to get to them.
|Renee Ellis||Warren Walker FERREE's father|
Do you per chance know when/where Warren's father, William Edward Ferree, died or is buried?
P.S. Yes, I am also descended from Marie W. Ferree.
After settling in the New Paltz, NY area (French Hugenot settlement with houses from the 1600's that you can tour/see today) the Ferree's ended up in Pennsylvania. "My" Ferree's migrated to Bracken Co., KY and then my precise lineage went to Ohio.
I live 45 min. from the Hugenot settlement in New Paltz, NY. Check out my Find A Grave memorial for my Ferree gg uncles. I have been working on linking them to their cousins who were in the Civil War. I visited some of their graves last summer (Andersonville, GA & Chattanooga Nat'l Cem, TN)
