Remember Me
RE: Joseph Chambers
I understand but still wish that I could manage as I have dedicated myself to reasearching the Chambers family for 14 years. I have a tree on named Chambers Vogan family tree. I have not copied other members information and therefore I am sure that my information is correct. You are welcome to get information from this tree.
Regards, Cathie Chambers Morgan

Indian documentation
I have very little documentation. I have some articles that are on the web. Most of the documents list him as white. The reason they did that, said they were white, is there was a great deal of stigma against Indians. But it is good to know that we are related. I am related to the Moody's thru Jeremiah Moody marrying a Rice. Rice is one of my main 4 lines. To study the people in the Appalachian Mountain area is really interesting to me. That area really has a mix of Indians, blacks, slaves, immigrants.

Thank you for having this grave page for Sarah Elizabeth Moody Chambers. The Moody's are real difficult people to find. I know, sometimes those graves are hard to read, but she was born in North Carolina, you have it that she was born in South Carolina.

Lillian O. Rowden
Butch, Lillian was my paternal great aunt. I have been searching for two years trying to find her burial site and that of her husband, Samuel Daniel Taylor (brother of Tempe). Today, with the aid of several Alabama Genealogy Network friends, they were located and I have created their F/G memorials. You will find links to others' memorials.

Lillian's # 133453506
Sam's # 133453294

I have lots of info on both families if you are interested. Contact:

Butch, Tempie J Taylor Pilgrim, George Dallas Taylor (her father), and her brother, Samuel Daniel Taylor are all in my tree. Sam married Lillian O. Rowden Heschelle Taylor. Lillian is my paternal great aunt. I found George's F/G Mem # 58715636 which led to Tempie's and thus to you. I would hope and like to be your friend on F/G. I can send you an invitation to view my Rowden (1) tree on It is a private tree, seen by invite. I am currently working on the Taylor branch. I cannot find the burial sites for Samuel or Lillian, both died in Cullman, Cullman, AL - no F/G records. I will gladly create their memorials if I can confirm where they are buried, and am hoping you might just know. Take care. My email is
