Originally from Wichita Kansas, I grew up in Fort Worth graduating from Richland High School in 1969 and now live in Dallas Texas. I retired from SBC in 2006 at which time I became a member of this site. This has renewed my interest in geneology. On my father's side of the family, I am looking for names of Hawkins, Boren, Delozier, Bond and Duncan throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kentucky. On my mother's side the names are Grett, Ukens, Rice, and Sittner throughout Pennsylvania, Kansas, Colorado, Michigan, and points west. Any information is appreciated. Feel free to email me with any questions or comments. I will be glad to share any information I have.|
I also enjoy walking through cemeteries and taking pictures to add to this site. I think the relationship link is the best feature they have added here.
If there is a correction or addition that you would like made, please use the EDIT tab on the memorial and I will see that it is taken care of. Any photograph I have added to any memorial may be used by the general public, without credit to me, provided it is not for any commercial purpose.

|Bill Warren||Jessie "Dude" Guyton|
I have been asked to remove a duplicate record on Mr. Guyton, which I am glad to do. I have moved a photo I took of his funeral home marker. Could you please add the note "Note: Transitory Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury, Glen Rose, Lipan. Grave is at foot of Kodie Gouge burial site." to his site, and add that he was born April 7.

At 9 years old, John moved from Philadelphia to Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduating from high school in Albuquerque, John joined the United States Army. John became a veteran of the Army, serving in military intelligence. In 1972, he received his bachelor's degree in sociology from Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, Iowa. He later received a master's degree in public administration from Webster University. He began working for the United States government in the Washington, D.C. area in 1972 as a contract reality specialist. John eventually made Overland Park, KS, his home and continued to work for the United States government in the General Services Administration (GSA). John enriched the lives of everyone who knew him and wanted nothing more than to make the people around him happy. John was a selfless man whose number one priority in life was providing for and loving his family. John was hardworking, generous, devoted, patient, fun-loving, kind, and an avid storyteller. John made friends everywhere he went, telling silly jokes and funny stories. With his white beard and big smile, it was easy to mistake John for Santa Clause himself. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Joann Benson, and his three daughters, Lori Delorit and husband Aaron of the Kansas City area, Lisa Determan and husband Scott of Phoenix, AZ, and Amy Benson of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by his mother, Bernadette Benson of Overland Park, KS, his brother, Paul Benson and wife Sue and daughter Sarah, his mother-in-law, Luella Goodnow of Sioux City, IA, his sister-in-law, Kathy Armbright of Sioux City, IA, and his niece, Meghan Armbright of North Sioux City, SD.
