Bio and Links
Bio Photo I can't think of anything more fun on a road trip than actually finding the cemetery you are looking for and then the excitement when spotting the gravestones. Digital cameras have taken so much of the anxiety out of this endeavor these days.

I have similar feelings looking on Find A Grave for my family. I am very appreciative to all who add their photos and obituaries on these memorials.

I have been working on family history seriously since 1985 when my niece asked me a question I could not answer. I looked for that puzzle piece and that led to the next. It never ends!

My special interest is my Page Family line which begins in SC with the children of John and Anne Page of Laurens Co, SC.

I am also interested in my local history and support our genealogical society.

I share my research freely so any additional information I have on families I will gladly share. Good luck in your searches!

I wonder if you would attach her parents to her memorial. Her mother was my Great Great Aunt. Bryan

Hi, I apologize for the delay in adding the obit you sent for Stephen to his memorial. Not quite sure how I missed the email. Is he family ? I don't mind transfers.

RE: Russell & Gertrude
Cathy you are welcome. I was there looking for my great-great grandfather's grave but couldn't find it. I figured as long as I was there I would fulfill some requests. I also put the GPS coordinates on each photo I post so in the future people can find it.

Margaret Sirvin
Hi Cathy,
I so appreciate all the work you and others like you have done to help others to find their missing ancestors at!
My question is abour "Margaret Skirvin" in Orleans Cemetery in Linn co.,OR. My Great-Great Grandmather was Kathleen Emmiline (Kelly) Skirvin. In the 1860 Iowa Census she went by Emmiline and she and Jacob had 2 children ages 3 and 1. They later had my great grandmother in 1861 and 2 other daughters in 1863 and 1865. All but the last child were born in Iowa and that child was born in Oregon. We don't know what happened to Kathleen Emmiline, but in 1868 Jacob married Martha Childers in Linn county, OR and they had 4 more children born in OR.
Jacob's first wife was Catherine Jump who he married on May 31, 1849 in Owen county,KY where they had 3 children. Their last child Daniel was born in Nov. 1852 and lived only 15 days. I suspect that Catherine died at that time and Jacob later married Kathleen Emiline Kelly and their first child was born in 1857 and the last in 1865.
I have found no Margaret in connection with Jacob. Do you have any further info on Margaret? Did the gravestone say wife of Jacob Skirvin?
Thank you so much for any help you may be able to give me!

Martin Banis Banks
Martin Banks is buried in Blanco Cemetery in Blanco, Tx.

Are you related to him in any way?

I ask because I am looking for the grave of Martin Banks the son of Ballard and Zula Phillips Banks of Burnet Co.

Can you assist me in this search?

Zola Betty Wheeler Cooper
Thank you so much for linking Zola to her parents O. Pink Wheeler and Ada J. Wheeler. Thank you also for placing the location of her plot on her Memorial. I'm going to request a photo of her headstone.
Thanks again,

RE: Emily Wiberg
If you search New Sabyland, both Wiberg and Weburg, you'll find all the markers with either name. I photographed all that I could find.
