BEFORE ADDING A MEMORIAL PLEASE DO A SEARCH SO AS NOT TO ADD A DUPLICATE|
I was born in Houston, TX and have continued to live my life here; but, I love to travel and search for the grave sites of my ancestors. I started doing the family genealogy when I was in my early 20's. At that time I had small children so genealogy went along in slow-motion- mostly talking to family members and writing everything down in a note book. That was before the personal computer, of course. Now that the children are grown and we have more time on our hands, my husband has joined me in the search for information on our ancestors. Since we are both retired now more time to travel and work on genealogy. We also add side trips to visit our grandson in Florida, family and friends around the country, lighthouses and we always do a little antiquing along the way. The photo above shows me descending the circular stairway in St Augustine Lighthouse in Florida.
Please visit our daughter and grand-daughter's memorials:

|JHA||Laura F. Hooks' husband|
Laura F. Hooks is married to Walter M. Robinson on the 1880 census. Texas marriage records report her marrying Wattie M. Robinson in Collin Co on Dec 3 1875. Is the census wrong? Is the marriage really to Willie M. and not Wattie M. ?

Lesley, could you please add my mother Mae Lucille Smith-Westfield to the memorial for Henry Washington Smith as his daughter? Her birth and death were 1901-1964. Your assistance would be deeply appreciated.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photo on my family website. Check it out at http://freienmuth-shortridge.com/ernst/buchheim-cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.
|David Mitchell||Tommie Lee Evans Holder|
I gave you the wrong husband for Tommie Lee Evans Holder, her husband was Jim Carl Holder buried in same cemetery. The information on her parents that i posted is correct. Her son as Robert Holder that is where I got off on husband name.
Thanks for your help
Hi. I get this info to add to a memorial I added but can't since the mother has to be added to the child's memorial and not the other way around.
For Infant Franklin and Lula C. Franklin, their mother was Abilene Franklin, #11525916. She is buried in another cemetery-one where I manage memorials.
