Bio and Links
Bio Photo My name is Sammy Garner from Belgreen, Alabama. For the last five years I have been working with the Franklin County Archives to update all of the active cemeteries in Franklin County. I also helped with re-mapping the KP Cemetery. My love is Geneology. I am updating the family histories of the Grissoms, Hamiltons, Hesters, Pounders, Taylors and Tompkins. I have been using Family Tree Maker to do this. I recently started using Find A Grave to post family histories by using the Family Link feature. I will transfer management of any memorial to anyone having anything to add.

MSG Phinus Young Headstone Photo
I appreciate the headstone photo you posted to the MSGT Phinus Young memorial of Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery in Franklin County. I had posted a photo of him in uniform with his wife, my grandaunt Marie, but was unaware that his family had seen fit to include his rank on the headstone as well. I am retired military myself, airborne & mechanized infantry mostly, and it was a fitting tribute to see again on this Veterans Day.
