Please do not use my photos on any website without asking, first! I have been keeping a list of those who have ask! It is amazing the number of my photos I have made locally that people have placed on Ancestry.com & wikitree claiming as their own work. A few have given me credit, most have not. But to take a photo they found on FAG and upload it to their own tree on ancestry.com, wikitree or other web sites and take credit as their own is nothing less than thievery.|
Findagrave have their rules and regulations for a reason, if you feel they are to strict or to laxed perhaps this is not the place you need to volunteer your time with. If you want to help them please accept their rules/regulations and stop changing them to benefit yourself or your ways. If the rules say don't add obits, then don't. If it says you can with written permission then by all means do. I try my best to go by the rules, so don't fault me, if it is not the way you want it. Sorry!

Keep in mind this is not a place for a family tree! It is a tribute to those who have passed on before us, gives relatives a chance to see their family member's graves, and help with family research. If you are asking for transfers just to create a tree, I will not transfer. If it is your goal to maintain memorials of those that are related to you, it goes against what FINDAGRAVE is all about. I will be happy to make all corrections, additions and family links you may have. If you want to be a major part and contribute to FINDAGRAVE, please go out and do the leg work, walk cemeteries, visit newspaper offices, state archives and find where your relatives are buried. They may have an unmarked grave and by doing this you may help another. Just maintaining your relatives memorials is not a contribution. Someone else has already done the leg work.
On all transfer requests, include your relationship to the deceased. Requests will only be processed if they fall within Findagrave guidelines. Please, don't ask if beyond Findagrave quidelines
Saying please will accomplish much more out of me than making it sound like an order! An order will get you nothing!
I just can't wait! For those I have talked to, you know what we all are waiting for! So thankful for the delete tab.
