|Linda Garrett||Find A Grave: # 55312044|
I just located the 1930 Census listing her as the daughter of J. K. and Lola N. Dishman
|Linda Garrett||RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 55312044|
I have a niece that is related through her father's side of the family. Gene Calvin Burdette married to Frances Edwina Dishman. I have been trying to help her in her research so would be thrilled if you could share more.
Thank you for all you do in helping others find branches on their trees.

Trying to find parents of Frances Edwina Dishman married to Gene Calvin Burdette.
|Linda||RE: Rudolph Diaz|
Thank you for the compliment! :) I was just reading over his findagrave memorial and noted some typos. So sorry, i try to be perfect! :) Could i please ask you to correct them for me? In the first paragraph it should be"PatrolmAn temporarily assigned" not patrolmEn. In paragraphs 2,3 and 6 could you delete the parts in parentheses about "link below"? I had originally written this for a FB group i'm in about Dallas PD history and officers, but when i sent it to you for findagrave I left off the links since findagrave has a fit if you include links, however, i forgot to take out the mentions of the links in the bio. And finally in the last paragraph - i did make a memorial for his father at La Piedad Cemetery in Hidalgo, TX but i discovered that his mother died back in KS where she grew up and had extended family. I imagined she was buried with him but have since been unable to discover if she was shipped back to TX or if she was buried there in Kansas since i'm not a member of a paid obitary database. I don't want to mislead anyone...so here is a revision to replace the last paragraph:
"His father, Neives Tex Diaz is buried in the La Piedad Cemetery in Hidalgo, TX. His mother, Cesaria, might be buried there with him, however, she died in Wichita, KS where she grew up and had extended family. To date this contributor has been unable to ascertain if she was sent back to be interred with him or if she was buried in Kansas."
Thanks in advance! :)

|All Have the Right||RE: Wylie family at Billington Cemetery|
Appreciate the information. I'm not related to the Wylie's. My Great Aunt Lois (Emons sister) was married to Jessie Boyd Wylie.

|Red River Queen||Barbara Roddey|
Based on info in Texas Death Certificates, I've added information re: Henry Louis Roddey and family. He and his wife had a daughter Barbara Ann Roddey b. 25 AUG 1918 McLennan County, TX who I suspect died young. Do you have any information about this person?
|Red River Queen||RE: Samuel Moore and others|
Thanks for your information. I have moved the Mary A or C Moore page to Oakwood.
Please note that there are 2 burials with spelling Roddy and 7 burials with spelling Roddey at Oakwood Cemetery. Among the 7 burials spelled Roddey are the Henry R. Roddey, husband of Mary Moore.
|Donna Spears||RE: Infant twin daughters of Hiegert|
The names were based on research we did 3 years ago in the Oaklsnd Cemetery. We are not sure now where we found the names. Perhaps we found the info in family records at the Dallas Library. We would have had firm data to put the names in that caption.
We will let you know if we find any notes.
The Oakland Cemetery is such a disgrace for the City of Dallas. Unfortunate for folks with ancestors there. It has been totally neglected. Many notable people are buried there including at least 3 Dallas Mayors.
