Thank you Jim for taking the time to photo the memorial for our Ambrose while at the Hampton Veterans Cemetery. Find-a-Grave is a huge success because of people like yourself that give their time and resources. Again, thank you.

Ellis Stoker
Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph his headstone.

I notice that the headstone spelling is different than what records show. But, if the burial is actually for Ellis Stoker, he was my g-g-g grandfather.

RE: Martha Lucy Sanders
Yes, my mother, Margie "Polly" Sanders-Granger talked about "Uncle Allie" your granddaddy. We are cousins!!!!

My sister, Glenda, has done a lot on the family tree and I have been researching on ancestry.com.

I did not know my relatives except my mother's sisters and brothers and some cousins. Mom talked about relatives but I never met them.

Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave.

I will add my mother to this cemetery as soon as I get a pic of her headstone. She is buried in the same plot with Martha Lucy Cotton and James Alonza "Lonnie" Sanders her parents.

Thank you so much for responding.

My sister and I are putting all her research of 40 plus years on ancestry.com

Thanks,
Carol Granger Ward

RE: Julius Suoker
That is fasinating! And Suoker is a version of the name I did not even think to do a search of. You are the bee's knees! Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate your time!

I have seen the military marker for all soldiers who were in the Civil War; can you show a picture of his headstone?
