Bio Photo Hello - We got the Genealogy BUG in 1977 - been at IT ever since. Just found Findagrave (2009)- LOVE it. Has given me answers as well as created questions. Bill is working on Southern Varner's & all their connections from PA & NC. Bobbye with some cousins has been working on all 13 children of Jacob Shadrach Champion, who died in 1832 in SC. As well as Robert Taliaferro & Thomas Boulware lines of VA. Thanks to all the Findagrave people who have helped us and drop a line if we can help you.

Walter A Roberts
Just wanted you to know you have a picture of Walter Raleigh Roberts -(son of Walter A Roberts) Memorial# 41193343 for Walter A Roberts. I created Walter Raleigh Roberts memorial in 2005. Walter A is the brother of my G grandfather Johnny Roberts. Also, I found a Rosie Roberts that was buried at Tompkins Cemetery in Clarke County without a picutre of her gravesite. Was wondering if you knew if this is Walter A's wife Rosie Lee Hicks Roberts buried there?

No, I didn't fix it that way. I've made changes on the edits tab so the other's who hold the memorials can update them and add both parents. This should fix it and no more **'s for half-siblings.

RE: Martha Bailey Osborne's children
Hi, Bobbye, I hope the surgery goes well. I've updated my info on this family. I now have 10 children and you have 10 children. The difference is that I have an infant born & died 22 Feb 1919 that you don't have. You have a Dorothy Osborne that I don't have.

The 1930 census is the latest I've checked for this family, that's probably why I don't have Dorothy. The infant is buried at Oak Bower and is not the same as any of the other named children. My Billy and your William are probably the same. So there were probably 11 children in all.

RE: Berta & Zeb Morgan
You are so welcome. The weather was absolutely beautiful yesterday! Sunny, light breeze, low 60's. It was a good day to do a little "graving," as I call it - LOL. Good talking to you again. Take care,
Renae

RE: Elias Pugh
Same here with Elias. Just his name and maybe his spouse if he had one is enough for me. I really don't need their parents. I actually really do not even need him, since I am not related to them. I just have Bettie because she was married to one of my grandfathers. Like my 3rd great I think. So I am related to her children, but not her. I will pass along any information I find. If their parents were buried in Choctaw County, then they are in an unmarked grave. But they are probably buried elsewhere. Have a great day! :)

RE: Elias Pugh
The sister Bettie M. is Elizabeth "Bettie" Jimerson who was married to my 2nd great-grandfather the second time. (She was his second marriage.) I can give you that line. In fact she is buried at Lusk Baptist Church Cemetery in Choctaw County, Alabama. I am trying to get all of the links approved for that family. Thanks for the information. I do not know anything about Elias. Just that he was a brother of Bettie. But I can give information about Bettie's family. Still searching that family, also.

RE: Elias Pugh
I have found a record on familysearch.org that lists the parents of one Bettie Jimmerson (who's full name is Elizabeth Pugh Mosley Jimmerson - apparently she married a Mosley before the Jimmerson) as James and Mary Pugh. She is listed as the daughter of one Mary Pugh on the 1880 Census that you are referring to. So yes her parents are James and Mary, therefore her brother, Elias's parents must be James and Mary too. Since there is not listed another spouse for Mary, that is the only logical conclusion.

RE: Nettie Autry Dennis Stringer Lee
I believe I found a marriage for her in Mobile Co., AL to Eugene Lee - Sept 1945. That's as far as I got so far.

RE: Joe Welsh

Mr. Joe Carl Welsh told me this - his father changed the spelling of their name because there were two Joe Welch's on the mail delivery route and to distinguish himself from the other, he became a "Welsh". Seems rather odd to me but that's the explanation I was given.
