Regarding the memorials that I have added: If there are corrections needing made, please use the "Edit" tab. You can find this tab on the top, far right hand side of the memorial. From there, you will find a selection of links in which to use for whatever corrections are needed.

If you would like a memorial transferred, please feel free to ask. I always prefer that loved ones manage memorials if at all possible.

Also, please feel free to use any photo or information that I have submitted here.

RE: Photo Request
You are very welcome. I'm just sorry that that grave marker doesn't exist. I would have loved to have found it for you.

RE: Matilda Mayo Fulton
Thanks for the offer, but this branch of the "Starling" family is related, but too far out on the branch for me to be concerned about...listen to me being too picky about family research. I started clearing up with some Starling's listed in Pioneers of Wiregrass Georgia and got sidetracked...not unusual. Thanks for the additions to Matilda's memorial.

Gordon James, son of Nena Jewell
Dee, I am not sure if I answered your message to me in 2013 about Gordon James who was a half brother to my aunt, Yvonne Jewell Ross. This information came directly from Glenda Sue Ross Grivet who is Yvonne's daughter; both now deceased. Gordon was listed in Yvonne Jewell's obit. as her half brother. This was a shock to the Ross family because she had never spoken of a brother who was a James. She had several brothers with Jewell last names. I knew her mother and all of her siblings. I am away from home presently, but will check with Yvonne's only granddaughter and see if I can get more information if you have not resolved your question. Our family just assumed Nena Jordan Jewell had been married before. Sorry, I just over-looked your message. Mary Gordy

Confederate flags for York relatives
Could you please remove or replace the Confederate flag flower on Marion L. York's memorial? The memorial number is 3206255. He fought for the 1st AL Cavalry USV (that is, for the Union).

Marion's brother Charles Franklin York did fight and die for the Confederacy though. So thank you for the flower on his memorial.

I'm not sure whether or not a Confederate flag belongs on their brother Andrew's memorial page though. He was a conscript who didn't want to serve for the Confederacy, but ended up doing so for a small period of time because he was made to. He served mostly as a nurse. I'll leave the flower on his memorial up to you.

RE: Confederate Flag changed to a flower

I'm sorry it happened to you but glad to know I wasn't singled out. I don't understand it because I have several other Confederate Flag icons that I use and they did not disappear. But I will let you know if I find any of yours.

RE: Red(d) links
The Red/Redd bunch are a confusing lot of folks that's for sure! IF I looked at right names, per his suggested age, the Jr "could" have been the father of at least one of those. I will however leave that up to your decision ......
