I retired from the Army of 21 years and I love to study and visit Civil / Revolutionary War Battlefields and visit the generals grave sites who served during those periods. Thanks to Find a Grave I am able to plan my trips accordingly. As the National Chaplain for the Disabled American Veterans 1.2 million member organization, I like helping those who cannot visit their family members in person by taking pictures for them in the area in which I live. I post veteran memorials on Find a Grave to pay tribute to their service, a way of honoring them for the sacrifice made to this country. If you have more information to post to a memorial I have created, send it to me and I'll add it or I'll transfer the memorial page. Photos taken by me for Find a Grave may be considered public domain and you are most welcome to use them.|

|Love in Family||Highway 36 east cemetery butts co., ga|
the highway 36 east cemetery is actually the Towaliga County Line Baptist Church Cemetery greatly a colored cemetery and has a link listed on find a grave site in Butts Co., GA every memorial from the hwy 36 cemetery needs to be transferred to this one. and the highway 36 east cemetery then needs to be deleted from the site. I started using the edit key on individual memorials and realized there were more that you had created here sorry for the confusion i did use the edit key for all that should be deleted as duplicates thanks for all you do with find a grave

Can you transfer this memorial to me. It is my Aunts father and she is wanting to get started in Findagrave so I was trying to get her, her father and mother to start with.
|Sandra Lee||Pvt. Burrell Lee|
Thanks for your efforts in documenting these graves.
Pvt. Lee is my great great uncle. His father, Jackson lee is my great great grandfather.
Jackson is buried in Smith Cemetery, Georgiana, Butler County, Alabama. He was 47 years old, but joined the 3rd Bat Reserves and went to Ft. Blakeley near Mobile, Alabama.
We've recently located Jackson's grave and are in the process of obtaining a DOD/VA headstone to mark it.
Incidentally, I retired from the USN in 2003 after 24 years. Senior Chief (E-8)
Michael D. Lee
