I was born Nancy Smith in 1953 in Weatherford, Parker, Tx. I went to school but got my GED in 1973. I was married for a brief time in 1979 but divorced in 1982. I moved to Waco, Tx in 1983 to go to school. I started getting interested in Genealogy in 2008 just before I found out that I had breast cancer. But I went thru surgery and I am ok now. I have tried to research my family some I have found and then I get frustuated cause I can't find my great grandmother on my father's side but I am still looking. I think they she got a divorce, and remarried but I simply cannot find her. I enjoy helping my friends with their family ancestry. I have helped them and I feel great at least that I could find someone. I am still learning and I know that it is a long process and you can't believe everything. I have not lived in the 1800's so I don't know what they went thru but you know that it had to be hard.
