Bio and Links
Bio Photo FREEDOM TO USE DATA SENT ME: As of July 7, 2014. If you send me info., links, obits, etc. please note that you are giving me PERMISSION to use it to create memorials or to add it to a memorial. I hope this will prevent any confusion when it comes to info. being shared on this site. If you would like credit for anything you have sent me or plan to send just ask and I will add a note to the bio. area. I guess I should have been doing this from the beginning but I just didn't think it was necessary!

I try to add a note whenever I come across conflicting info. but names and dates on a persons gravestone takes precident over other sources.

I will do edits for those who are willing to work with others. Please continue to send them using the edit tab in the upper right hand corner of the memorial. Do not send me personal messages using the edit tab as that is "Not" what it is for! Do "NOT" add bio. info. with a flower. Also I would prefer that death certificates and obits. not be added as a photo. Thanks to all the great fellow contributors who have sent info./links to me to be added to memorials. Most of you are now listed as my friends.

FLOWERS are ment as a "form of remembrance" and I only add them as a way to "honor the deceased" who is usually a family member, a small child or a military service person. I do NOT add them as a way to contact a contributor.

For those taking photos please check out this site: How To Get Great Photos For FindAGrave. Thanks Ron West for this link. I hope it helps others take much better photos than a lot of those I have come across on FAG. Also please try not to take photos with your reflection in the stone, cars or people in the background and hopefully with green grass around the stone. No photos taken after dark or with snow completely covering the ground. I prefer seeing the whole stone not just a closeup of it. Do not take photos of an upright stone looking down on it. This distorts the engravings and makes the stone look like it is falling over. Always try to take photos at a right angle to the face of the stone. This may mean bending over or getting down on one knee to take a photo. Also removing dead grass and bird droppings would be really nice and please no shadows of yourself or your body parts across the face of the stone. Remove flowers to get a clear photo of the names & the dates and then always replace the flowers!
