|Hello! I've added many of my relatives on this site plus many others of people that I personally knew or was acquainted with at some time. I hope I'm not offending anyone when I add their loved one. And if I have added one of your relatives that you would like to be transferred to you, I will gladly do so. I'm not in this to see how many memorials I can accumulate. I just want to create one in honor of the person who lived. Also, all gravestone pics I add to memorials can be printed off. But, please do not sell the pics as they are copyrighted. I do not charge anyone any money for takings the pics. I volunteer my own time when I am available and there is no charge to the requester whatsoever. Findagrave just request these pics to not be scanned/copied & out on other websites, so please adhere to that. When I joined FAG in 2012, FAG did not send me any instructions of what to not put on memorials. Hence, I had some 15 to 20 years of obits (around 300) that I personally knew, was acquainted with, or knew the family in some way & had added them to memorials already started. In the spring of this year I was informed by 2 different ladies that I could not put them on this website. So, I immediately started taking off as many as I could remember. I know I didn't get them all as after putting them on, I donated all of those obits to our local library for them to put in a book. If you feel you need to contact FAG administer because I have violated the rule, please feel free to do so as I feel they can scan my 3400 memorials faster than I can to see if any more of them need to be taken off. What good is this website if you can only get a picture of a tombstone of a relative you are looking for and not any more genealogical info? Newcomers to FAG need to be sent a copy of the regulations regarding the input of memorials on here. In the meantime, I don't feel any regret of already having added over 20,000 photos to FAG in the past 14 months to help people out from traveling all over the place like I had to do when I first started genealogy in 1994. FAG, also, needs a "No Tombstone" symbol so that when you photo a whole cemetery & know beyond the shadow of a doubt that there is no tombstone, it can be posted so that other photo volunteers won't be sent out for nothing. Also, you can put obit info in the bio section but FAG rules state not to list survivors unless you have permission from the family. I'm sure this is due to identity theft worries.|

Thanks for your message re Armintie at Fairview Rider Cem. I found a record for Armintie and that's why I added her. Will be back sometime soon to look for her stone? I didn't find anything on Emmett but it appears you did. Should a memorial for Emmett be added to this cemetery and would like to do the honors? Please let me know what you think?

I am confused I read a note on Ann Gardner's page about this man but don't remember getting anything on it, I may have accidently deleted it as I been receiving a lot of mail lately, I think I got carried away on deleting some of it last few days some of it may have not of been read. Any way. I would be willing to come down and help read some those hard to read stones in Oak Hill I have been getting a lot of practice with the tin foil method, I think I showed you some a long time ago but Iv improved some since also started using black light but it is really hard to do in the day light. I have also found that if a stone is lying on its back its best to up right it or turn it over as they weather 10 times as bad on there back face up. I have also been probing and have found several stones under ground. I even found one grown in to a tree am trying to get permission to cut it out. One couple in a old large cemetery in California has found several hundred stones by probing just a couple inches down. Woodfin Cemetery I know has a hundred stones missing since I first visited there in the 1960s. One those was my Great Grand Fathers first wife had replace hers. I dug up 3 or 4 of them a couple years ago. Really need to get a boy Scout grope in there to up right some of those large ones. Working on that in one over on the Kansas side now.

Thanks for all your work. You have really done a great deal and you are appreciated ! --- I agree about accuracy and will keep at it.

Thanks so much for your diligence in identifying the Civil War veteran ! I will have to learn how to do the rub that you mention. ---- There is a technique using corn starch that is described in the Flint Hills (KS) Genealogy website. Pictures and a general "how-to" are described through a Frost Cemetery link. --- It looks good, but I've not tried it. ----- Again ---- Thank you ! ----
thank you for all the information!
If you have obits please send them too
You are not suppose to add if a family complains otherwise if is a personal choice
Thank you for all you do
