I've been an active genealogist for 30+ years. I'm currently researching the surnames Lunsford, Linville, Norris, Ferguson, Meador, Cole, Williams, Tully, Byrn, Greenhaw, Yates, and Morelock.
I'm an avid cemetery transcriptionist simply because I believe everyone deserves to be remembered.
I don't post graves simply for the number of memorials I can stack up. I strive for accuracy, and in particular, finding unmarked graves. If someone is related to any of these memorials, just let me know. I will gladly transfer your family members.
"Show me your cemeteries, and I will tell you what kind of people you have." --- Benjamin Franklin, 1706-1790

That is fine. I think in order to link to a contributor, you would use the code ms&MSid=##### for contributor number rather than gr&GRid=##### for the memorial number. I could not find explicit instructions for linking to contributor in the Help section but it is similar to linking to a memorial but with a different code.

Hi...you accidentally linked to memorial 49007349 instead of contributor 49007349.

I live in Michigan but travel a lot. I spent over 30 years in the Air Force which gave me time to visit a lot of cemeteries. We are on a three month trip right now but not getting very much cemetery time because of the heat. I'm not totally against adding bios and obits but when I get one 3 pages long that rambles on and on about this person's accomplishments, I put them on the back burner. I do eventually try to post them. When I'm on the road I have a tough time getting an internet connection most of the time. Anytime you want a transfer, just let me know. Take care.

You made a request to add a spouse for Arthur Dabbs. He is buried by a spouse. Do you have more information? Was this a second spouse?

Got the information added thanks for the help. Like you I think everyone needs to be remembered. If this is your family feel free to ask for her memorial. I've been trying to survey a lot of the cemeteries around by taking pictures. Just trying to help update some old lists.

You sent me an edit for my great-grandmother, Elza Lancaster.
I declined it because the death certificate states
she died June 20, but she was buried at Mt Tabor on June 19th.
I have found errors on many death certificates.

I'm sorry. I personally don't know about 99.99 percent of people in my memorials. I also get about the same percent of my information from walking the cemetery. I travel all over this country and before Find A Grave I walked with pencil and paper. Take care.
