I have been doing genealogy for over 35 years. When my parents died in California and I was not able to attend the funeral or visit the cemetery, I realized how a virtual cemetery could impact lives. I made a photo request and a volunteer took the time to photograph my parents grave markers.

You have Charlene F Cothren Copeland 136110268 as being her own sibling. She was the wife of Fred. R. Copeland. Thanks CVC in Alabama

Hey MtnView. I just submitted edits for my aunt Eva. She was the oldest sister in my dad's family. Thanks for all you do.

Wrong Date
You have the wrong date listed for William A. Ferring. The gravestone shows he died in 1872, NOT 1972!

Harold Garrison
My Mother-in-law was Harold's oldest sister. She had told us about his accident. Harold had received a shotgun for Christmas and couldn't wait to go hunting that day. We are so thankful to finally find his burial and the article you shared. Thank You!

John A Brown
Pamela, I am the great-granddaughter of John Brown. Buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Blytheville, Mississippi Co, Arkansas. The year of death is wrong. On the joint headstone it shows his year of death at 1932. This was as the death year recorded in my grandmother's family bible. His wife Elizabeth B Brown passed in 1927. Thanks for the picture of their headstone. I have a lot of wonderful memories in Blytheville, Arkansas with my grandmother and granddaddy Posey.

Gravestone Photo Permission
I am happy to see that you photographed the gravestone of Patty June Alford in Crittenden Memorial Park (Memorial# 11077484).

I would like to add this gravestone photo to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Arkansas Obituaries, where her obituary is (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/OBITS/AROBIT.htm.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, the photo caption will say:

Photo from [cemetery name, city, county, state]—www.findagrave.com
Permission granted by the photographer, MtnView [or your name if you prefer]

And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

Best regards,
Pamela Alford Thompson (Find A Grave #47195155)
