Family history is something that has become very important to me in the last few years. Working on my family tree has become somewhat of an obsession lately. I can't bear the thought of my ancestors fading into the past, so I honor their memories here. Thanks for everyone else here who does the same!
I hear ethereal whispers, persuasive,
soft and still, "Daughter, if you don't
remember us, who will ?"

|Phil||Westview photo requests|
I would like to help you find your photo request at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
Westview is massive – the largest cemetery in the whole Southeast. Would you please help me by calling the cemetery office at 404-755-6611 to find out whether the grave is marked with a monument or marker or both AND what the section and lot numbers are.
Then I will gladly look.
The office is reluctant to give out that information to non-relatives.

Jackson and Nicholson names are also more common in the Tennille area. If you do not have a death certificate, you might wish the contact the Troy Library and request a search for an obituary.

You are certainly welcome. The only other Gautier near her was William H, Mary's father. Happy hunting!

Tony, you are very welcome. I was looking for some of my ancesters who are in the same cemetery,so I ran the list of photo requests before I left home, and I was able to fulfill yours and several others at the same time. Let me know if I can help with any closer to Mobile, Al or Pensacola, Fl.
|Ross Sippel||RE: Fields|
Sorry Tony,only one other marker. It was a funeral home marker with no inserted name. No other markers at all.
|Ross Sippel||RE: Fields|
No, the only marker in cemetery was for John & Hattie
|Keith Lee||RE: Alice Hargrove|
You're very welcome. I'm sorry I couldn't find the stone. I looked several times. The others in the family are all together with the plot outlined by stone. If you can give any more information I will gladly go back and try again.

You're quite welcome! Please let me know if you need more photos taken in this area. I'm happy to help out!

Thank you for you amazing work here and on Ancestry.com! Thomas Jefferson Nicholson is my 3rd great grandfather. I have a LOT of family down in Pike County cemeteries. I'd love to get down there and meet you some time.
Best Regards, Cheryl Anne Smyth
|Angelique||Lonnie Logan Hargrove|
Hi Tony. I found a record I believe you added to find a grave for Lonnie Logan Hargrove. It shows his wife was Zetta B Hargrove. Is this a calculated relationship or do you know they are related? I have been digging for quite some time on the Hargrove side of my family. According to my living Great Aunt, Lonnie Hargrove was the brother to James Charles Hargrove (my GGF) and Lonnie was married to Laurie Mae. My Aunt did not mention an additional wife. I am wondering if this is the correct Lonnie I am looking for or if the calculated information could be incorrect. Thanks in advance if you can help!
