I just put Civil War photo him of on his memorial. Photo came from THE KINCH FAMILY 400 YEARS OF HISTORY compiled by Michael P. Kinch. Are you a related to him? I'm his great great grandson.

RE: John Sterling Adams photo
You're very welcome. I hope you noticed his first name is James on the headstone, rather than John, and James is what is recorded on the death certificates of his children that I found.

John C D Lower
I know that he was the postmaster for some time, on the form when he became postmaster it has his name as John C Lower, also on the marriage to Emma Hartman it also has John C Lower.

Info/correction
Hello Dennis,
Thank you so much for your generosity in not only providing the Civil War military information for:
William H. Nauman # 14447038
but for also correcting the error I made when listing his Regiment.
I sincerely appreciate any help sent my way that enhances my memorials.
With thanks,
Marcia

RE: Edmund Wiley Photo Request
I agree with you completely... and even a week before I asked about a grave location and was given the info with no problem... then this last lady gave me a bit of a hard time. I asked for 9 grave locations and maybe that was too many at one time.

If you happen to know where in the cemetery Mr Wiley might be I don't mind the search.

But its a pretty big cemetery... actually two of them since Ardsley Cemetery is also part of Hillside
