I live in Central Ohio with my husband. I'm a proud U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.|
Please feel free to use any photo of gravestones that I've posted for your family trees or research...no credit needed!!
Preserving a very old stone on a photo is a blessed thing. I always think of the ancestors in the future that will stumble onto this site and find that stone, that may be worn away by weather or destroyed by an evil vandal now, but has been preserved for them with photography here forever.
I'd really appreciate it if you'd visit my parents, Reginald and Dora Huffman's memorial pages and leave a flower for them. God bless you in advance for doing this!!
THIS IS A CEMETERY
Lives are commemorated
Deaths are recorded
Families are reunited
Memories are made tangible and
Love is undisguised
This is a cemetery.
Communities accord respect
Families bestow reverence
Historians seek information and
Our heritage is thereby enriched.
Testimonies of devotion, pride and warmth are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life, not the death, of a loved one. The cemetery is homeland for memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
A cemetery is a history of a people, a perpetual record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering...always.

I want to thank you for adding Margaret's information on Find A Grave. I have made numerous trips to Circleville doing geneology on my family, the Earnharts's. Wm was my gr.gr.gr. grandfather. Find A Grave has helped me to locate 2 of 4 of my gr.gr. grandfather John's sisters. John migrated to Kimmell, IN in 1843 from Circleville, OH. Again, I want to thank you for placing Margaret and William's children in your write up. Using Find A Grave would have speeded up finding on Circleville relatives 20 years ago!
I am trying to locate William Earnheart's father and mother in Swan Twp., Vinton, County with no luck. The names are Johannes and Margaret Ehrenhart or Earnheart.

Re: Samuel Leath # 53715562 Samuel Leith is my 3rd G-Grandfather
Correct spelling for his name is:
Someone has connected James Leeth B 29 Mar 1799-23 Jun 1874 Find a Grave# 85612220 to Samuel Leith as his son. This particular James Leeth is NOT the son of Samuel Leith. Samuel Leith and his wife Ann DeLong did not even get married until 18 Dec 1804 in Belmont County, Ohio.
Samuel Leith did, in fact, have a son named James Leith, however, he moved to Effingham County, Illinois along with several of his brothers such as David Leith, Isaac Leith, and Wilkinson Leith. He lived there until he died on 04 Oct 1874 and is buried in Leith Cemetery, Mason, Effingham County, Illinois.
Please REMOVE this James Leeth #85612220 as a son of Samuel Leith# 53715562 Thank you in advance. Brenda Ossowski

Hello Linda - Do you by chance have another picture of Isaac's gravestone? The one on his memorial has a shadow covering some of the memorial. His is #51979210. Thanks
