If there is one thing I've learned from all my genealogy research, it's that truth REALLY IS stranger than fiction. My paternal grandmother, Bernice Zurawski Nail, started doing research on her family and when she passed away, she left it all for me. Now I'm pretty much addicted to genealogy and researching family history. I've always liked cemeteries and hope I can help other people locate their ancestors graves. I love doing research and would be willing to help anyone with information or pictures.I don't consider snapshots I take of a grave or a family photo I upload to be copyrighted or owned by me. I understand the importance of wanting a copy of a grave to attach to someone in your family tree. If it's been uploaded by me, I've done it to share with others. I don't mind someone copying the photos and I also have no problem emailing any pictures or documents I have that someone would like.If I go to a cemetery, I try to take pictures of as many graves as possible and upload pictures to existing memorials or set up memorials if there isn't one, in hopes of it helping a family member locate them. I'm happy to do any updates that you want and don't hesitate to ask for transfers. Just use the Suggest a Correction link on the desired memorial. If they mean something to you, then you are probably better able to give them the best memorial possible.A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers on Find A Grave! Thank you to all of the volunteers that graciously handle corrections, bios, updates, links and transfers for me. And thank you to all of the people who send me information to add to bios, links, requests for transfers and especially those that catch my mistakes. ****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain memorials, please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and are willing to take over management of the memorials. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. Right now, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have someone who has accepted stewardship over the memorials you added. Please send in their member number with your email. Feel free to contact me should you wish that someone maintain the memorials you have created. Thanks!***** (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)
Harry Lesher Hi,I see that you put in some information on my ancestor, H.P. Lesher and his second wife, Lillian. Are you by chance a relative of his? If so I'd love to trade information in the hopes of each of us having something new for the other.
James Nail Could you please tell me where you got the death date for James Nail Sr. b. 1786? Is there a Bible record? I am helping a lady to become a DAR member and she needs to prove James Nail Jr. b. 1816 is the son of James Nail Sr. b. 1786. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
New Hope Cemetery - Oakman, Alabama You have four names listed as being in New Hope Cemetery located in Oakman, Alabama that you have requested photos. I walked and photographed this entire cemetery back in November of 2012. I have looked back through the photos and I am not finding any of the ones you have listed. Is there a chance that they are in a different cemetery?? I only live about a mile from the church and I will see if I can get back out there just to walk it again soon just too double check.
Sorry I couldn't be of help immediately, Brandie Zimmerman Rennicker
I went to St. Peter's Cemetery on Old Wausau Road in Point. What is the chance that Maggie and the others are buried there? I found Joseph and Antonina Zurawski, but I didn't locate Maggie's grave or any of the other ones apart from Joe and Antonina.
Nickie Nickerson #99440982. Thank you so much for attending to all my Generys Gap edits. I have been hunting for those that are missing a photo. Each edit is based on information from my added photo or a check with Ancestry.com
I am especially pleased to add a photo for Nickie.
