Bio and Links
Bio Photo For as long as I can remember my family has routinely visited our local cemetery. Young and old attend to the graves of our ancestors and reflect on those various individuals that have touched our lives. It seems to be a way for the adults to keep those departed individuals fresh in their memories and serves as an opportunity to pass on family history to younger family members. In our case, the cemetery is a very park like setting, located on a lake shore, and is a very pleasant place to visit.

Over the years I have found that cemeteries are an excellent place to take break as I travel. It's a chance to get out of the vehicle for a while, take a walk in a quiet setting, and to learn a little about the local area. Now, as I make these stops, I try to take random photos of headstones that provide a cross-section of those who are laid to rest there.

It is my hope that the photos and information posted to Find-A-Grave will be of interest to individuals who are working to document local or family histories. Please feel free to contact me if you spot any errors in my postings or if you have photos or information you would like me to add.

Please Note: I have not been active for some time and I only check this site on occasion. Please be patient when I am slow to reply to you requests.

Jake Teague

IF you are not related to Jake, I have a request to keep his memorial by family. I have one on our ALUMNI page. I have sent an edit and have more edits to send. I also have photos of Jake.

Thank you.

Ted Silversmith Burial Location
Mr. Irish the cemetery photo of the Houck Cemetery for Mr. Ted Silversmith is in error. Would you please remove it, the place of burial is in the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemtery in Houck, Arizona. This cemetery as you may see isn't listed on the Find-A-Grave Index as of yet. A local lady told me of it's existance and how to find it. Thank you so much. Don

You don't know me but I live in Eau Claire and am very involved with Find A Grave. I noticed that you've posted pictures in Abbotsford Cemetery so I'm guessing you live around Clark County.
I am considering a major Find A Grave photo project in Clark County next April/May. It would involve 4 cemeteries and potentially 15,000 pix. I am trying to see if there are some interested Find A Grave photo volunteers in the area from Menomonie to the west, Phillips to the north, Augusta to the south, and Wausau to the east. If I have some luck contacting Find A Grave folks, Iíll probably frame the entire project in the next couple weeks. Might this interest you?

Thanks, Bill Hart
