Bio and Links
Bio Photo Amateur ancestry researcher with a huge interest in discovering facts and photos about my ancestors. I enjoy exploring cemeteries in south central Kentucky (Clinton, Wayne, Cumberland and Russell Counties) and old records. Morbidly enough, death records are my favorite. Surnames I search for are: Leveridge, Riddle, Cheatham, Anderson, Bertram, McWhorter, Snow, Craft, Guthrie.

Aunt Nova
Hi, Kendra! I just saw the photo of Aunt Nova as a young girl. Very sweet.

Eleanor Cullom Goddard
is supposed to be at Elk Spring Valley cemetery, a different one from Elk Spring. Mary Williams McConkey is also there, supposedly.
It looks much smaller, and I don't see a record for her there, but other records say that is where she is. Maybe we can finally find her.

RE: Adeline Snow Graham
Glad you like it! I received that particular photo from my cousin, Ed Purcell. His great-grandmother is Champ's niece, Bessie Wright - in one of the new photos I just added. The other new photo, (4-Generations), I received from my aunt, who had it among her things. I recently discovered yet another image of Adeline on-line, posted in Ancestry.com by a member whose permission I am currently awaiting. Keep checking back - hopefully we will be able to post it soon.

I am Adeline's descendant through her daughter, Martha LeeAnn (Graham) who married Champ Sherman Guffey. Their son, Leslie was my great-grandfather.

Please contact me regarding this lineage. I have lots of information to share. My email address is tootsie8664@sbcglobal.net. I look very forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards,
Toni

RE: Nova Dick Anderson
Very long, thin face. I remember that. This is so cool to see!

Bertrams
My great aunt Nell married a Bertram (ALLEN O.)

Aunt Nell's maiden name was Nell Christian Hedrick, and she was sister to my grandmother, Mary Hedrick Anderson (the other side of the family about whom you and Hackett have been in contact.)

I wonder whether these are connected to the Bertrams you are researching?

Nova Dick Anderson
Hi, Kendra,

I am Hackett's sister, Kathy, and I am pretty new to all this.

Back in the middle 60s, I met Nova Anderson. My mom called her "Aint Novie." I hope you have some photos to post of her along with those of her husband Sherman.

Thanks for adding to this collection. I am really enjoying seeing this family come, er, not alive exactly, but more clear, at least!

RE: Samuel Hercules Anderson
His service record is about 300 pages.
I will scan his hand-written letter (describing his escape from a Confederate prison camp) as well as the witnesses noting his wives. MCB
