Bio and Links
Bio Photo This has been my hobby for over seven years, started long before I discovered any websites for posting them.
I find myself concentrating on the older, broken, unreadable tombstones, the ones that, because of layers of mold, lichen and grime, are so obscure that people tend to walk right past them. I get more satisfaction uncovering a lost individual's stone than I do photographing huge monuments that will be around for a thousand years and those more modern ones of the men whose bones have partially disintegrated while still clothed in the everlasting polyester suits that they were buried in!

RE: Uncle Matthew Spautz.
Hi Cheryl, the site for Uncle Matt is fine the way it is, if it's ok with you. I am not very computer savvy. I don't know how to post pictures on the computer. Thank you

Memorial# 85981598
I just searched for my great-grandmother Julia Mae Wilsey Lafever Morse Lingo, and was quite surprised to see the picture of who I assume to be her. I'm very curious to find out how you obtained that picture, and how you know that it is "Granny Grunt," as my uncle Mark used to call her.

The picture on my Uncle Dick's site #178655493 of two young boys on a horse is not him. This pic is of my older twin brothers Richard & Robert.

Memorial# 113940342 Osterberger
You have C. (Catherine Blitsch) Osterberger born in 1871 (which is on the headstone) and then you have two children born in 1877 and 1880. Isn't she a little too young to have children at age age 6 and 9?
I do not find these children in my records for her. I have Anna M. 1897, Elsie L. 1898, Louis J. 1900, Lucille L. 1904, Florence M. 1906, Clara 1910, William J. 1913, and Gerald M. 1916. Lucille L. and the last three are approx. ages.

Cheryl,

Many thanks for adding memorial and looking for gravemarker to take photo.

Someone posted a picture on ancestry.com and said burial was Holy Trinity. I will look for that photo and try to send to you. She is my 3rd Great Grandmother.

Really appreciate your efforts,

Janet

They are:

It would mean a great deal to me.
Many thanks,

Cheryl thank you so very much for the pic of the headstone. I was not expecting to see three in one but that was good.
