I was born and raised in Clear Creek Township, Huntington County, Indiana. I have been gathering information on the Eckman, Fine, Lahr, Shultz, Sloniker, Whitestine, and Winebrenner families since the early 1980s. My family file currently contains over 24,000 names and continues to grow.|
PHOTO CREDIT: You may use the tombstone photos that I have posted to memorials if you will cite this source statement: "This photo was taken by Find A Grave contributor Indiana Bill who posted it to Find A Grave memorial ##########." To use my tombstone photos without this citation violates U.S. copyright law, Find A Grave guidelines, and misleads others into believing that you were the photographer. Please do not use any of my person or family photos without first asking permission to do so.
TRANSFERS: Transfers will be happily made if they are direct-line relatives--your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. and children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. Please request qualifying transfers by using the memorial's Edit tab and the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link. Your relationship to the person involved must be included in the transfer request. Please do not use a Public Message for a transfer request.
For persons outside the transfer guidelines, please use the Edit tab on their memorial to submit any corrections or additions using the links found there. I will gladly consider adding information to a person's Bio field or Note field if you will send the information using the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link.
FLOWERS: Find A Grave guidelines specifically state that biographic and obituary information should not be included in Flowers. I will gladly add biographic and obituary information if you will send it to me by using the Edit tab and clicking "Suggest any other correction or addition". Please omit the names of living persons when sending biographic or obituary information.
OBITUARIES: Please do not add photos of obituaries to my memorials as it violates Find A Grave guidelines if names of living persons are listed in the obituary. If you send the obituary information to me in typed form using the Edit tab, please note that I will edit out the names of living persons to protect their privacy. In some cases, I may be able to determine if a person listed as a survivor is now deceased, but if I cannot, their name will be edited out. Please include the source of the obituary information.
ADDITIONS & CORRECTIONS: Updating names, dates, places, and parent/spouse links, etc. is now easier than ever under the new edit system. Before sending an edit for any of these items, however, please double-check your research to be sure that the information you are sending is accurate. If you do not have reliable sources that confirm the data, please don't send the edit.
DUPLICATES & CORRECTIONS: I make every effort to avoid duplicating memorials and to provide accurate data in my memorials. If you spot a duplication or an error, please tell me so I can remedy the situation. If you have an error correction for a memorial, simply use the Edit tab on the memorial and choose the appropriate item for entering the correction. If you are notifying me of a duplication, be sure to use the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link under the Edit tab.
PUBLIC MESSAGES: If you send me a public message about a specific memorial, please be sure to include the memorial number in your message.
NOTICE: I'm sorry, but I will not consider updates, corrections, additions, or notice of duplication, etc. from "visitors" who are not members of Find A Grave or are members but are not logged in.

Schilder it is.
|Tricia Quinn||Mary C Hamilton Taylor|
I am trying to connect Mary Hamilton Taylor's brother, David Sanford Hamilton, to their parents, Adam Hamilton and Margaret Howard. I have Mary's death certificate that lists her parents. Does somebody have a record, e.g., family Bible or Mary's obituary, that lists David Sanford (or Sanford or D.S. Hamilton) as her brother? If so, could you please email it to me? My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I may also need a description of the document's provenance. This is the last evidence I need for admission to the DAR. Thanks so much for your help! Tricia
|Scabbardfish||Sarah Schilder Shirk|

I've made the correction to Fred Lash, Jr. I've sent you so many corrections over the last few months that you can send me as many as you want and I'll do them--I owe you.
|Kara Gullickson Graper||Fred Lash|
Hi Bill! Thank you for info on Fred Lash, Sr. I was able to find literally several hundred old newspaper articles about Fred on newspaperarchives. He is actually buried at Rose Hill cemetery in Chicago, and his son IS Fred Jr. at Oak Hill. Quite an interesting character and man. Seems that he and his son were at odds in the court room for many years, but were able to patch things up prior to his passing. I'd love to send you articles and attempted to, but there was not a return email address on message. I deleted the original memorial and created a new one with correct info. Fred Sr. was also born in Vermont, not Germany, according to articles. Findagrave is being stubborn right now and is not allowing me to upload info at the moment. I will add story about his death when the bugs are worked out. I do have a subscription to newspaper website, if there are any other folks out there that I can look up for you, I am happy to do so. Currently 9 months pregnant and moving slow... great research time though! All the best, Kara
|Carol M.||RE: Information (Cedar Creek/Lowell)|
I spoke with the gentleman this morning and he said it never was a separate cemetery. It was mislabeled by the Genealogical Society. It's the Cedar Creek section of the Lowell Memorial Cemetery. I apologize for my error and have removed the memorials I created in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Thank you.

After looking at the listings you have for Lowell Memorial Cemetery - a lot of them are mis-listed and should be with the memorial listed for Cedar Creek, Lowell, IN.

I believe you have these people listed in the wrong Cemetery. Lowell Memorial and Cedar Creek are together and according to rootsweb they are buried in Cedar Creek. There is a memorial for them at Cedar Creek. Thank you. Please see: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~innwigs/Archives/CemeteryList-LakeCounty.htm
