james forester
I thought you might want to know that James Forester nickname is "Jay" He was a jolly happy fun person and he like to cut up with you...and if "Jay" was quite he was thinking what he could say to you to make you laugh...Jay had a high fever when he was a kid, this caused him to have some mental capibilities. We all loved him...
And one of my husband ggrandmother was a Mayfield...I will get back with you on this

RE: swords cemetery
Thank you Jessie, My Greatgrandfather Elisha Scarborough and (we are unsure of the other 2 graves beside him) have been there for some time. I'm not sure but I believe his 4th or 5th wife is buried there, but the child is unknown to us. the pictures we have of the grave, as you mentioned are not very attractive of the cemetery, but the ones you have of the gate, and wall are very nice. Thank you for your kindness. It is very much appreciated. Deborah

swords cemetery
Hello, I'm Deborah Jones and you have added a picture of E.F. Scarboro's grave site at Swords Community Cemetery. I'm confused though, we all know he was buried at Swords cemetery but my parents do not recognize the pictures you have of the cemetery itself. Do you know if maybe the cemetery has been updated within the last 10 years? All my parents can remember is a dirt road, and that the cemetery looked nothing at all as nice as your pictures. It was run down and not cared for. Surely there is not two E.F. Scarboros. I do thank you for adding the pictures and look forward to your help in helping us out with this confusion. Thank you, Deborah Jones.

GOSS - Correction
The correct information about my mother, Emma Lee Goss-Bartron, is 1922-1996. I was a bit overwhelmed over finding my grandparents markers and just went a bit blank there, I guess.

Goss family
Dear Mr. Mayfield. I happened upon this site by doing a search for my grandmother, Florine Goss. Her husband, James Fred, and their son James Fred Jr, both went by the initials JF. Finding the pictures of the headstones was something I hadn't expected, and let me take this opportunity to thank you for posting then. JF Jr. and Lilly Ruth were my uncle and aunt and my mother was Emma Lee Goss-Bartron, 1922-2006. Thanks once again.

Rausey Woody
Rausey was my great great great grandmother. I appreciate the information and the pictures. I have very little info or pictures of the Woody family.

Harwell Family Cemetery
I am trying to get directions to the Harwell Cemetery. There seem to be two but I'm not sure -- one in Morgan County, GA and one in Jasper Co., GA. They may be one and the same however. You added a picture for this cemetery of Martha S. Harwell. Could you possibly give the directions to this cemetery where you took this picture. I would be so appreciative. Thanks. Harwell Family Cemetery
I wondered if you would be so kind as to give me directions to the Harwell Family Cemetery located in the Godfrey Community, GA. You have taken a photo of one of the gravestones there so I assume you have been there. I would be so appreciative. Thanks, Rebecca
