I just love genealogy. I got hooked several years ago. I just love walking cemeteries. Many old stones are gorgeous. I just love a good mystery to solve. Many time answers are just awaiting me. I just have to keep my eyes open. |
I add other stones that I see in my treks in hope of helping others. If I have added one of your family, I'd be happy to transfer "management" of the memorial to you. Just let me know. Please use the edit tab on the memorial to do so. That way, I can make sure that I am transferring the correct memorial. If you notice any errors, please let me know via the edit tab and I will make the corrections. Thanks. Please be patient with me about the edits that are sent automatically. I do try to keep up with them. Sometimes I do forget to check.
I lived in Green Township, a Cincinnati suburb for many years. I walked many of the cemeteries in Hamilton County, Ohio and Campbell & Kenton Counties in Kentucky. I currently live in Whitefish, Montana.
I walk cemeteries in Flathead County now.
You have my permission to use any photos I take for your family trees. Please credit me with taking those photos as CarolS on findagrave. Thanks.

Thanks so much for the transfers of my wife's 2nd Great Grandparents, Nikolaus and Maria. I will take good care of their memorials and will add any family information that I can find. I will also make sure to delete the duplicates that I have created.
I think the older memorials are neat as well. You learn so much from them. Just like the name spelling with theirs. My wife was not aware of this. We learned another piece of family history.
Thanks so much!

I got stuck on a Klump from Dushore, PA. George Peter Klump. All of them on my husband's side are all in PA. No other states that I have found thus far and I think perhaps there were some adoptions :(

I wish I had the source at my disposal now. I came across it in some notes I was keeping because I am working on one of your ancestor's business partners. Take a look at my memorial for Bernard Holters (1823-1878). I'll try to locate where I obtained the birthplace and send it your way.

Yes, born, raised and will die here:) my husband Tom and I live in Cleves now. Toms father was Walter Bender and he grew up in Price Hill.

Just a note to tell you how much I appreciate all the effort you put into the memorials you post. You are one of the reasons Find a Grave is such a great genealogy tool. Your memorials have helped me past more then one "dead end" in my research. Thank you so much!
|Deirdre ORourke||Bender/Pfitzer in Los Banos|
I saw your request and I read about Mrs. Bender on the memorial page. I don't usually go to the Los Banos cemetery. However, the Pfitzers are from the Gustine area which is where I live. I knew William Pfitzer. In the cemetery near here the following Pfitzers are buried: Pfitzer, Anthony (Antony)1869 - Aug 26, 1924, Pfitzer Dollie/Dallie A. 1873-Aug 25, 1952, Pfitzer, Eachus 1904-Sep 07, 1929

Pfitzer,George Anthony, and Pfitzer, William. If you would like those photos please tell me, I'm going to the cemetery tomorrow. The cemetery is called Hills Ferry and it is located in Stanislaus county.
