Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello! To begin, I am a LADY. Confusing first name.
On this website I am attempting to enter information from the west side of Iron County, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula, where I live. It's BEAUTIFUL here, with forests, lakes, hills, and rivers. The history of the area comes alive for me as I work on this.
I also am entering information from my own family tree and my husband's. We have 5 young adult children, and I'd like to preserve the family tree information for them.
I am a retired High School Librarian, so researching and recording this information is pretty thrilling & natural for me!

Hi there,

Could you please link John L. Wedewart to his parents?

Fred Wedewart 100243157
Emma Wedewart 100243198

Also, do you have a copy you can easily share of the article: Iron River Reporter May 25 1945 "Wedewart Got Heavy Action On Carrier"?

Thank you for your efforts!

John

RE: Dates of interment
Tackmier headstone in Stambaugh Cemetery: the baby Clara buried here is probably a stillborn baby of a family member with no birth/death data. If we knew date of interment, we could add this child to the family history. Thanks, Dale.

Once again thank for the photo. I really appreciate all you have done with Find A Grave. If I ever get to visit the UP again I would love to meet you. There's so much I'd like to research it would take an extended stay. God Bless.
