My maiden name is Nichols and I have been doing genealogy since 1995. Some of my family names include Nichols,Sherman, McNitt, Wing, and Purdy from the Branch County, Michigan area, on my father's side. Davis, Vian, and Keyes, from Ohio on my mother's side.|
I would like to give Judy Sherman all the credit for writing the bios on my sites, She has done a wonderful job. Thank you Judy.
I have been working on some of the cemeteries in Branch County, Michigan and would be happy to do transfers if you are related, unless they are my family members. You are more than welcome to use but not sale any pictures I put on find a grave.

I appreciate the transfer so much. I knew that Benji was buried in Quincy but my friend couldn't remember the name of the cemetery. I am so glad that you made the memorial and linked him to his parents.
We have a black and white photo of his headstone with his parents beside it all those years ago. I will find it and post it.
My friend told me the story of Benji's death and I put it in his bio.
Again, I really, really appreciate the transfer and my friend and her sister will be very excited to see the memorial.

Thank You for your Thank Yous!! :)
FYI, in 1805 the Armstrong's neighbor in Livonia New York was the family of Reuben Runyan's (1765-abt1844). Thought you may find interest with that.

Thank you for doing the updates so quickly and looking for his wives. I may have to do a road trip out there this summer and see if I can find anyone else. Much appreciated, Jessica

My Thompson line lived in Fenwick, Mi. fairplains Montcalm area. He was married to a Olive Arvilla Sherman (Maiden name) I was told the grave site was engraved wrong. There is a William and Flora Thompson with a son Fred Thompson. Ferris Earl Thompson is my maternal grandpa at Clear Lake Cemtary. It says his parents a Charles and Olive? There was also a Robert Thompson and Caroline that lived next door to them? Rhoda Jones Sherman-Dewitt is Olive's mother??? Is this the same Charles Thompson? Born Feb 10, 1870...

Thanks! I have a lot more to do. I need to get Obits for all the siblings. They are my great grandmothers aunts and uncles.
I'm particularly interested in Theodore because in '36 when he married he kicked his brother and family off the family farm on E Chicago Ave. So I'm trying to locate land records from that time to see what happened to the farm.

Thanks, I found the reference in the Branch County Cemeteries also in our Genealogy Library here in Albuquerque. I suspect that he is not my 2nd Great Grandfather so I will keep on hunting. May require a field trip. :)

I am researching my 2nd GGrandfather Thomas H. Morrison who passed away in Branch County, April 8, 1897. According to probate, he died in the home of a John Brehm (who I think is buried in the Waterhouse Cemetery, Kinderhook Twsp). I am just wondering about the memorial for F.H. Morrison in the Knauss Cemetery. There is no date and says he was a soldier. As far as I am aware, my Thomas Morrison never served, but he was in Albion, Calhoun Co, MI from 1861 through the 1880s when we lost track of him. But I have found probate online in the Branch County documents. Just wondering if you had any more information about F.H. Morrison before I discount the memorial. Just grasping at straws. Thanks.
