Bio and Links
Bio Photo Sometimes I take random pictures of tombstones at various cemeteries. If they don't have a memorial page I make one. So if they happen to be your relatives let me know and I will gladly transfer management. Other contributors have kindly transferred my relatives to me. I don't believe in keeping memorials just to have a high count. The pictures I post are there for you to use.

RE: Bower
Hello Carolyn,
You are very welcome! I wanted you to know that when I took these photos, I also took photos of the other Bower family stones. Henry (1896) and Eliza J. (1917), Eliza (1919) and Mary (1922) were also there. I have uploaded their photos to their Find A Grave sites. There were also two stones whose inscriptions could not be read. Hopefully this info aids in your research. Pat

spelling of name
Hello, regarding your memorial 84824242, Albertina Kolm. There is no photo of her stone so I am not sure if the name is misspelled on the stone or if it is just a typo. Her name is Albertina not Alvertina. Thanks, Don Knoepfel

I wish a headstone survived. :( This is my husband's 8th-great grandfather, so you must be related.

RE: Sophia Roemmich
I just looked at her Memorial Page and I think you are 100% correct.
How nice to finally have this one fufilled....no matter how it happened.
Boy did I look and look for this one. Not only is this my parents hometown but I had a kid that worked for me that was a Roemmich. In fact she lived in Oakes her first four years or so. So as you can imagine I always came away very disappointed when I couldn't find Sophia.
So, again, how cool that we finally did it!!

Thanks for the update. Next time I see Peggy I'll tell her what happened.
