Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband is so understanding as we do our genealogy, plus stopping at cemeteries to fulfill photo requests for other people.

If you find any errors, want additional information or an obituary added, please send it through the edit tab on the memorial and I will revise &/or add the information. Since many volunteers create memorials that aren't relatives, it makes it much easier if we don't have to go "hunting" for the memorial you are referring to.

If you are wanting a transfer please let me know your relationship; I don't follow the Find A Grave guidelines, but please let me know if it's a relative, close friend, classmate, etc. OR I will not transfer the memorial to you. If it is a relative of either my husbands or mine, I will also not transfer the memorial.

A BIG thank you to all of the fellow findagravers that add my suggestions, and, especially, the obits so that many individuals can benefit from them on their search.

Please consider any pictures that I have taken as yours...I am the messenger and believe that they belong to the family.

My philosophy; "No One Should Be Forgotten".

RE: Izetta Olive Farver
Hi, Peggy,

She was married to Clyde Watson Adrian, also of Nelson Nebraska, and they moved to Sheldon Wisconsin in 1920. That is where both are buried.

It occurred to me that, in compiling information about Lafayette Farver's family, you may have used the Census from 1900. In researching, I came across that document, and Izetta's name was listed on the next page, because they ran out of space on the page. That is why Elmer Farver was the last name on the page showing Lafayette Farver's family.

Thank you for adding her to the information on Find a Grave. I wasn't sure what you meant about profile and all that. Is there something I should be doing?

RE: Find A Grave Changes
Thank you for the reminder. I get a few hundred of those auto edits every day. They keep me busy when I can get to them.

Take care

RE: Mary Cornman
We just recently moved to this area, and have started attending church where the cemetery is located. I asked some people at the church today, and I'm hoping by next weekend, they can link me up with the people who know where the headstones are located. :)

RE: Find A Grave Changes
Thanks! No email notice when an edit appears on your home page? Kinda scary. Go away on vacation and something could slip by and get automatically updated. VERY SCARY!

RE: Laura Carter's death date
If you know some of the family, perhaps they could ensure that the marker gets updated.

Yep, it does turn into an addiction :) but thankfully one that may help others down the road.

It feels a bit like doing Sudoku, except that the end results aren't recycled with the newspapers.

This morning a lady at church brought some cemetery photos she had taken in Indiana of her family (a very old graveyard, named after her relatives). She said "I think you and your husband are maybe 2 of only 4 people who would care to see these, other than family". She plans to sign up as a Find volunteer, and add them (their memorials aren't yet on Find). So this obsession is catching! She is a marvelous photographer, and great writer.

RE: Lorena Woolen
My thoughts exactly Peggy, I don't understand why people want to manage memorials and don't want to add to them, sad indeed. You are very lucky they are letting you do the obits, but if they don't add them, all that work for nothing. :( We just keep trying to do our best, God bless you.
