...Once upon a time I walked across this hard, cold earth, and when I reached the end of my journey I looked back and beheld that the winds of time had erased all signs that I was ever here. But if you look closely, you will see an indentation here and a groove there, and if we are both very lucky you will find a foot print. I just finished a very small Swedish Lutheran cem in which there were half a dozen instances of a husband flanked by 2 wives or a wife by two husbands. I guess the first group did it and it became an acceptable practice.
