Thanks again Scott. I really do appreciate it. Yes, I have found my 2x great gma on my dad's side and my great gpa on my mom's. But I have found many aunts, uncles and cousins as well. Now I go and take pics to update Find A Grave. I've read that Oakland has over 30,000 people buried at the cemetery but only a little over 18,000 have been entered. So,I'm working on it. Have a great evening.

Hello, From 1850 Census on ancestry.com John Haywood Christopher was born in North Carolina.
His wife Minerva or Menerva Mount was born in Blount County Tennessee. Her birth place on Census is Tennessee.
I am Stil trying to find out the parents of both. Haywood is definitely
John's middle name as his daughter's (Martha Elizabeth Christopher Whitehead) death certificate states father as John Haywood Christopher and mother as Minerva Mount.
I am trying to find out if the Haywood name might be his mother's maiden name. Martha Elizabeth named one of her sons
John Haywood Whitehead. Martha married Richard Whitehead.
Gravesites in Jeddo Cemetery, TX. Richard Whitehead was quite a character as he was murdered and has his own unique story . The story is in ancestry.com Martha Elizabeth Christopher Whitehead's death certificate is on ancestry.com.
I will contact you if I find out any new information.
Sincerely, Sue May in North Texas
