Bio

My ancestors lived in Bedford, Virginia and fought in the Revolutionary War. They moved to Breckinridge, Kentucky in the early 1800s and remained there for about 100 years. Not wanting to be a farmer, my great-grandfather, William Everett Basham, left Kentucky and moved his family out West to Kern, California. We've since migrated a few hours South to Santa Barbara, where we currently reside.

I enjoy doing genealogy and helping others with their genealogy. I take pictures of headstones to help preserve the past and to remember those who were a part of it.
