Bio and Links
Bio Photo My ancestors lived in Bedford, Virginia and fought in the Revolutionary War. They moved to Breckinridge, Kentucky in the early 1800s and remained there for about 100 years. Not wanting to be a farmer, my great-grandfather, William Everett Basham, left Kentucky and moved his family out West to Kern, California. We've since migrated a few hours South to Santa Barbara, where we currently reside.

I enjoy doing genealogy and helping others with their genealogy. I take pictures of headstones to help preserve the past and to remember those who were a part of it.

RE: Re: W Artman
The information you supplied and the information I have from the headstone would indicate that they were in the same unit. If you would like, I can go ahead and process this request.

Your photo request for Michael Artman
I have a headstone for a W ARTMAN that is interred in a section for those who died in the Prairie Grove and Elk Horn battles. Is it possible that these are the same person?

RE: Re: Clemente Valencia
You are very welcome. I visit my dad's grave in the Santa Fe National Cemetery several times a month, and it is an honor to fulfill requests there.

Regards, Sidney
