Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Kern County, CA. My husband and I are retired. We are family people. My husband and I enjoy walking the local cemetery and taking volunteer photos and appreciate all the photo requests that have been fulfilled for us by volunteers. I enjoy crafts, sewing and baking. We love cooking together and trying out new recipes and we enjoy trips to the beach when we can get away. I'm new to and am enjoying it immensely.
I began my genealogy trek in 1998. My main families of research are: Colebank, Copeland, Corbitt, Dadisman, Summers, Boyd, Jenkins, Doherty/Dougherty, Pennington, Butler, Hulsey, Akers, Medlock, Hughes, Stewart & many more.
You are free to use the photographs I post for your own research or on other sites. I gladly provide them with no strings attached and no copywrite.

thanks for info. Have had to be extra careful adding info as lately there are some who are giving wrong info purposely. So I don't add just any edit saying this is their maiden name or this is their birthdate. I ask for source or link. So appreciate you sending the full info.

RE: Floyd Canada
I'm not done yet! If I every see Ricky again I'm going to see if he has any idea.
I know a lady on the board who may be able to help but I have to catch her.
When I'm out and remember I'm going to dig.
When and if I foind his grave location I'll post it. Also some of the Canada's from this family are buried in Steep Hill cemetery at Rye Hill, Sebastian Co., Ar. Hazel Lokey and her son Bobby Gerald Canada [a child by Hazel 1st marriage] I believe are there. Pelley Lokey her husband is at Huntington. Robert & Reba and their 1st child are at Liberty Cem. Greenwood, Ar. Hwy 96.
When I was little Robert & Reba lived down the road from us Hazel & Peeley lived across the road. Robert's brother started a coating company up the road it burned about 1960 and one of their girls got burnt from it.
Robert was had clostafoba and would not go into a storm cellar. He was a very good looking man black hair he was a little shorter than Richard. As I remember Richard was skinnie. I'm 65 and when most of these folks were in their 50th's I was about 6-15. There is another daughter I'm not sure who her father was but her name was Willamena.
Hope some of this gives you a new path and a little family insite.
Merry Christmas!

Stewart family
We are apparently members of the same Stewart family from Monongalia Co., WV and Fayette Co., PA. I have been researching the Stewarts for almost 40 years now. Willing to share all the data I have.
